Meet Angie Fernandez-Pinheiro of The Life Scoop Blog in Coral Gables

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Fernandez-Pinheiro.

Angie, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Starting a blog was something I had always wanted to do. It meant having your own little creative corner on the internet and being able to connect and interact with people. Two years ago, my husband and I moved to NYC and It was a complete lifestyle change and It was the perfect opportunity to start a life & style blog. My husband was actually the one who came up with the name after I told him that I wanted the blog to be a place where people could get the down-low on all things life and style.

This really just began as a creative outlet for myself because I enjoy writing, photography, and editing. After a year of blogging, it has become so much more than that. I have been able to connect with people from all around the world and share light-hearted things like how I bought a really cute swimsuit on Amazon to the stresses and life lessons of wedding planning.

Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all. Being a blogger/influencer is a lot harder than it looks on Instagram. It takes a lot of time, dedication, strategic planning, and confidence. There have been times where I stopped to think why I was even doing it and for who? It’s also very easy to get sucked into the comparison game, but I’ve been really lucky to have my husband, friends, and family to remind me of why I started The Life Scoop in the first place.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with The Life Scoop Blog – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
The Life Scoop is meant to be a positive and relatable space where anyone can visit the blog or my Instagram and find something they like and can relate to. TLS is different than other blogs because I touch different aspects of everyday life and I share my personal experiences, likes, and dislikes with my followers. It’s like connecting with a best friend and talking about fashion, food, travel, and real life things.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
Miami is truly a paradise and the saying “we live where you vacation” is very accurate. It is a very comfortable and laid back life and I love that I have my family and friends nearby. However, Miami can be very small and repetitive and it can be difficult to have new experiences and meet new and different people. Miami is very near and dear to my heart and it will always be home to me.
