I’m Angelina Anikina, a business coach and founder of “Angelina – European Hair Extensions” in Miami. My journey began when I moved to the USA at 25 without knowing the language or having connections. Determined to create a better life, I built my business from the ground up, starting as a hair extension specialist. I gained experience, learned about the local market, and continuously invested in my education—spending over $20,000 on self-development for the last couple of years.
Over time, I grew from a solo stylist to the owner of a premium hair extension studio, assembling a talented team to work with my clients while I focused on scaling the business. Today, I dedicate my time to mentoring beauty professionals worldwide, helping them grow their businesses and achieve financial success. My journey is proof that with perseverance and dedication, it’s possible to build a thriving beauty business in a new country.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Moving to a foreign country without knowing the language was a huge challenge. Overcoming the language barrier and navigating business processes were tough. Building trust in Miami’s competitive beauty industry was another hurdle, especially as a newcomer. Financially, I started with a small budget and reinvested everything into the business, which was overwhelming at times. The biggest challenge, though, was transitioning from a technician to a businesswoman, learning to manage a team and scale the business. These struggles have shaped me into the entrepreneur I am today.

At “Angelina – European Hair Extensions”, my passion for hair is deeply rooted in the belief that beauty services can have a profound impact on a woman’s confidence, especially during challenging times. I’ve seen firsthand how something as simple as restoring hair can help women feel more like themselves again, whether they’re recovering from cancer, dealing with hormonal imbalances, or trying to overcome a bad experience with hair coloring.
Hair plays a significant role in our mental well-being, and that’s why I’m so committed to offering the highest quality extensions. It’s not just about aesthetics – it’s about helping women regain their confidence and strength when they need it most. Who else deserves credit in your story?
For the last three years, I’ve had incredible support from a few key people who’ve really helped me grow. My business coach has guided me through the ups and downs, while my psychologist keeps me balanced and focused. My project manager makes sure everything runs smoothly, and I’ve also been working on my English and public speaking with amazing teachers. Each of them plays a huge role in both my personal and business growth, and I’m so grateful for their help in making everything come together.
