Meet Andrew White aka A-Dub White

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew White.

Andrew White a.k.a. A-Dub White. Born and raised in Hollywood, Florida.
Always been a huge fan of rap music, his first cassette tape was “Dr. Dre’s Tha Chronic” given to him by his father at the age of six. Started writing songs at the age of 10. Been making studio recorded music since the age of 14. Started in the worldly music, but something shifted in him in 2015 and he transformed into making more Inspirational music to uplift. Still relying on the basic rap principles of Flow, Bars, Metaphors, and Cadence… now, he just incorporates his music with the Word of God and powerful words of encouragement. His latest EP entitled “EPhesians” was released in early June 2018 and now, he’s going from venue to venue performing his well-received song “Praying For A Miracle.” With the help of God, his wife, family, and Spiritual leader, he’s trying to win souls with his passion for music.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not At All… there were times I wanted to quit and give up when things didn’t go right, but then someone calls me or writes me out of nowhere and tells me how my songs inspired them. Or Venues book me or magazines email me wherever I feel like I’m not doing enough… God is validating my purpose.

Please tell us more about your work, what you are currently focused on and most proud of.
I’m a Christian Rap Artist… I’ve only been in this lane for a few years now, but I specialize in my writing. I’ve always written it’s just different what I write about. Instead of going to the club, I’m headed to church, lol.

I’m most proud of all the connections I’ve been making with the other CHH or artist in South Florida. Also, my progress in my Monthly Events “Sunday In The Gardens” that showcase these local artists to the world.

What sets me apart is my desire for music. My passion for music is undeniable. Mix that with my faith and it’s a bomb about to blow.

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
Keep getting closer to God, support my family, my beautiful wife, and daughter.
Also, continue making music and collaborating with other artist and expanding my catalog.
Perform my ministry more than 2018-2019 combined and show love.
