Meet Amanda Noboa of ActionCOACH Team Sage

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Noboa.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I believe my gift is the ability to combine my extensive people skills with process improvement. Having had real-world, hands on experience in running a medical practice gave me a wealth of expertise in what it takes to run a successful small business.

I am a Business Coach with the Miami offices of ActionCOACH Team Sage. Have a BS in Information Technology, 18 years of experience in project management, several years in coaching and a certification as an ActionCOACH Business Coach.

The thing I am most passionate about is making a difference in the world. This led me to pursue certification as a coach, and to help others reach their goals through encouragement, training, resources, and accountability.

Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It is an incredibly rewarding road not necessarily smooth. Becoming a certified ActionCOACH Business Coach is an ongoing and steep learning process. Additionally, understanding our client’s businesses, business model and industry challenges is key to the success in mentoring and coaching them towards their long term goals while creating a safe space.

Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?

Growing up as a middle child of a large, working-class, hispanic family a need for workability and solution oriented thinking was always necessary. Those are skills that have serve me well in my professional life. As a female immigrant, I’ve embraced every opportunity with great determination.
