Meet Amanda Bonet of Delia Rose Beauty in Boca Raton

Today we’d like to introduce you to Amanda Bonet.

Amanda, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always had a love for the beauty industry since I was a little girl and I always knew that’s what I wanted to be when I grew up. I always watched stylists in the salons doing hair as well as watched the women in my family do their hair and makeup. I would experiment with different hairstyles and makeup looks on myself as well as friends and family and they never complained which was great. It gave me more confidence to grow. I graduated from Empire Beauty School in Reading PA and worked in a few different salons but I always knew that color and cuts weren’t my favorite thing to do, it was always hair styling and of course makeup. When I moved to Florida I started working at a blow-dry bar which was perfect for me since styling was my thing as well as worked on a few photo/video shoots. I now work at Sprezzatura Beauty Salon in Boca Raton, Florida and I love it! I have an amazing boss and co-workers and the best part, I love coming to work, I’m able to upload videos to Delia Rose Beauty Youtube Channel, and I’m able to freelance for special events such as Weddings, Bar/Bat Mitzvah, photo/video shoots and many more!

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Nothing in life will come smoothly, there will always be bumps in the road but its how I react to them that will make the difference.

Please tell us about your work.
Delia Rose Beauty specializes in Makeup and Hair for special events or just a night out with the girls! I’m is known for fabulous blowouts that could last up to three days depending on your hair and your daily routine and makeup that will have everyone complimenting all night!

If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
If I could start all over I would have worked more on photoshoots in Miami instead of turning them down but at the time I was working a full-time job and sometimes I would get asked to do a shoot last minute and wasn’t able to take the job.
