Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Cohen.
Hi Alexandra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We are three cousins that seek to design the most fashionable and cool way to help others through our products. That’s why we created a new line of trendy and fun swimwear for girls which is focused on the comfort and protection of girls ages 2-14, and at the same time, for each piece you buy, you are donating one year of educational programs to children from low-income communities in Venezuela and the empowerment of single mothers through entrepreneurship in alliance of the nonprofit foundation @construfuturos that already has been working for more than 11 years to build better futures for children in Venezuela through education.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Since we produce our swimwear in Venezuela, the political and economic problems affect our workshop. Sometimes the public transport is not working properly or maybe there is no electricity in the country for weeks so we have to stop our production. But despite all the difficulties we managed to launch our beautiful collections.
We’ve been impressed with Too Cool Beachwear, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a swimwear brand for little girls ages 2-14. We make the coolest bathing suits for girls and the best part is that we are a brand with a purpose, for every piece that we sell, we donate one year of educational programs to children in Venezuela.
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
For us the most important part is that moms and also their daughters are happy with our swimsuits.
