Meet Alexandra Almanza of Socially Mavs

Today we’d like to introduce you to Alexandra Almanza.

Hi Alexandra, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Alexandra Almanza: The Chaos Manager

I’m Alexandra, and I proudly wear the title Chaos Manager— not because life has been easy, but because I’ve learned how to build something beautiful in the middle of it.

At 27 years old, I thought I was behind in life. I was a wife, a mom, and constantly trying to balance everything, yet deep down, I felt like I hadn’t even started. One day, I made a promise to myself — that failure was better than spending my life wondering “what if.” So I went back to school and decided to chase the version of me I used to daydream about.

Believe it or not, my journey began in my hardest seasons. Postpartum gave me the push to earn my real estate license, and another “rock bottom” moment became the reason Socially Mavs was born.

Socially Mavs started as a small idea and quickly became my second heartbeat — a creative agency built to help businesses and brands tell their stories through intentional, standout content. We specialize in content creation and full social media management, helping clients turn their vision into impact through strategy, storytelling, and aesthetics that connect. What began with my phone and a dream has now turned into a company with real clients, real results, and a mission to make lasting impressions.

The name MAVS is deeply personal — it stands for Misael (my husband), Alexandra (myself), and our daughters Vanessa and Samantha. Everything I do, every goal I chase, comes back to them.

Today, I juggle more roles than I ever imagined — I’m a wife, a mom, a Realtor, the PTA president of two schools, and I’m about to launch a networking chapter in Homestead to help other entrepreneurs grow, collaborate, and lead within their communities. My life is busy, loud, and full of beautiful chaos — but it’s also proof that you can turn pain into purpose and dreams into structure.

I’ve learned that chaos doesn’t mean you’re lost; it means you’re growing. It means you’re brave enough to build even when the pieces don’t fit perfectly.

And this is only the beginning. I plan to continue growing — not just in business, but in purpose. Through monthly events and collaborations, I want to bring people together, add value to the community, and support causes that are close to our hearts. Because at the end of the day, success isn’t just about what you build — it’s about how many lives you uplift along the way.

To my small but mighty village — my family, friends, and clients who have supported me through every chapter — thank you. You’ve helped me build a life that’s not perfect, but it’s mine. Every late night, every risk, every chaotic moment has led me here. And truthfully? I wouldn’t change a single thing.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Has it been a smooth road? If it were, I don’t think it would be worth it. I truly believe in God’s timing and that everything happens for a reason — even the detours, delays, and disappointments. Looking back, the toughest moments have been my greatest teachers.

As a business owner and entrepreneur, I fall on my face daily — but I’ve learned to see that as part of the process. One of my favorite books, Atomic Habits, reminds me that you only need to be one percent better than yesterday. That mindset has carried me through the chaos.

The truth is, growth isn’t linear, and it’s not always pretty. There were moments I doubted myself, moments where fear was louder than faith, but every stumble built resilience. Every no led me closer to a yes. And every challenge reminded me that what’s meant for me will always find me — in His timing, not mine.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Socially Mavs?
Socially Mavs is where creativity meets chaos — in the best way. I built it to help businesses show up online with authenticity, strategy, and personality. I always say, “your phone is the new TV,” and if your content isn’t entertaining, people will scroll right past it.

What sets us apart is our energy. My slightly unhinged ways make businesses stand out — I’ve even had clients hire Socially Mavs just to have me direct their shoots. I love thinking outside the box and working with industries I know nothing about because it lets me approach every project as a consumer first.

Our portfolio is as diverse as it gets — from Woof Love Play, a pet hotel launching soon, to OMG Lend from PRMG, a mortgage team working mission impossible, and Catching Up Therapy, a sensory playground bringing value to families while accepting insurance on Saturdays. Every client has a story, and our job is to help them tell it in a way people remember.

Our packages are fully tailored to you — because no two brands are the same. We post a minimum of three stories a day for our clients. Why? Because people check their phones before they even get out of bed. If you post once, they’ve already forgotten you by lunch. Consistency isn’t optional — it’s the strategy.

At the end of the day, Socially Mavs is all about connection, creativity, and making sure your brand leaves a lasting impression — with a little chaos and a lot of heart.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
We’re living in an era where we have more access to knowledge than ever before — YouTube, Google, TikTok — it’s all right there. I actually got my real estate class on Groupon because I was balling on a budget. I passed the class and studied on YouTube for $50. So, trust me when I say: resources are everywhere if you’re willing to look.

Listen to podcasts, read, and grow your mind daily. Walk every day — yes, it helps physically, but the endorphins and creativity that come from it are unmatched. Some of my best ideas hit me mid-walk.

When it comes to networking, surround yourself with people who challenge you to level up — that’s where growth happens. Go to as many events as you can, because energy is currency. Show up, be yourself, and go above and beyond for your clients. Most businesses thrive on referrals, and relationships are everything.

Once, I went to an open house just to support a client through Socially Mavs. I planned to stay thirty minutes — I left with two new clients. It’s proof that showing up matters.

At the end of the day, you’ll fall, and that’s okay. If you’re not falling, you’re not trying.
