Today we’d like to introduce you to Alejandra Valle.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
Finding, want to see it all, learn it all, take it all in, all that this beautiful world has to offer. Traveling and living in new places is an extremely important part of my life and crucial in getting inspired and coming up with work, which usually starts with a photograph that later on I turn into a painting.
Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, grew up in Las Vegas, studied art for a semester in Europe before graduating from UNLV with a bachelor in fine arts, emphasizing in photography and graphic design. Moved to Austin Texas for a couple of years and have been in Miami now for over 3 years now. Looking for where to next and still learning about my art and what moves me, what makes me me.
Please tell us about your art.
Love street photography, real life, candid photos. I am always trying to record what happens around me, what I’m living, the people that cross my path and the places that touch my heart. Sometimes with our busy lives, we forget to make time to be outside, to look up, take a deep breath and simply observe and be thankful of the beauty that is around
My photos and paintings are the way I make a memory become tangible, making unique and individual pieces for someone, whether is a photo session, a painting of the photo or a combination of both is always so intimate and cherished
Do you have any advice for other artists? Any lessons you wished you learned earlier?
Always follow your heart and your passion, do what you love, with all your love and the rest will fall into place. Spend lots of time by yourself so you get to know you and your aspirations and style. Don’t let other people get in your head, don’t try to please the crowds, we artist tend to be our worst critics, be good to yourself.
