Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrian Reyes.
Adrian, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Around 2014-2015 (my freshman year of high school), I started learning how to make beats. A friend of mine at the time showed me FL Studio and I started to learn how to use the program relatively quickly. The breaking point for me was definitely when Travis Scott released Days Before Rodeo. That project changed my entire thought process musically. Fast forward to 2020, I’ve worked with Lucki, Lil Pump, Richy Samo, Famous Dex, and many more.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For the most part, it’s been smooth sailing, the only difficulties I’ve had so far have to be marketing/networking.
Please tell us about your work.
I am a music producer, I specialize in rap beats but I am always open to working on any genre. Especially since my background didn’t even start in rap, I grew up on 80’s Heavy Metal. I’m known for making hard-hitting/muddy beats, and catchy/melodic anthems. I’m most proud of my ability to strive and work with artists/producers all around the world. What sets me apart from others I would have to say is my ability to make music that gets people to move. Most shows I attend that I hear my music at. I either see huge moshpits or just happy faces all over, and everyone is dancing.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite memory from childhood would probably have to be the first time I was able to play my favorite songs from Nirvana on guitar. It took me a little while to learn them since I was self-taught.
