Yulia, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I came to Miami over a decade ago, starting with English courses to prepare for the TOEFL and my MBA at FIU. During that time a classmate introduced me to her husband, a real estate broker, and I began working as his assistant. That’s when my love for real estate truly took root.
After completing my MBA and earning both, first my real estate and then my personal broker licenses, I founded Miami Investment Realty (MIR)—a boutique brokerage built on uncompromising service. Our focus is simple: every purchase must be a good one for our buyers. No shortcuts, no exceptions, no failed deals—just smart investments and happy homeowners.
One simple rule has guided me from the start: always answer the phone. It sounds basic, yet it’s rare—and it’s the foundation of every lasting client relationship.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like any business, the journey hasn’t been without challenges. When the pandemic first hit and no one knew what would happen, the uncertainty was intense. But in the end, it turned into a surprising blessing for real estate—what I call a sweet piece of honey—bringing new opportunities and growth.
And of course, the ongoing challenge is finding truly well-qualified professionals who can represent company and brand with the same care and standards I expect.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Like any other company, beyond structure and strategy, a brokerage requires creativity. I focus on bringing that creativity into marketing—especially social media—because today it’s one of the strongest tools to attract new clients and generate repeat business.
A simple post of houses no longer works. Too many realtors and brokerages look exactly the same. To stand out, you have to find your own visual and storytelling path—that’s where creativity really counts. I invest significant time and effort into crafting unique, engaging content and sharing real insights about Miami living and smart investing.
This approach consistently sparks interest from both local and international buyers and helps me build genuine relationships long before a property tour even begins.
Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
Sorry, no surprises here—my clients and my family know everything about me. I’m a very transparent person. I love to share and never keep anything just for myself. That openness naturally carries over to the way I work with clients: everything is clear and straightforward.
Everyone also knows about my passion for fashion. I love photoshoots, looking stylish, and taking care of myself. On my blog I share tips and everyday routines that help people feel good and energized. To me it’s a simple, joyful lifestyle that inspires others. We all love beautiful things—and I’m probably their biggest fan.
