Today we’d like to introduce you to Yara Lamp.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Lebanon, working as a model and for a cosmetics company, in 2007 I was visiting the island of Mykonos in Greece where I met my prince charming who is Greek descent but he lives in Florida, a year later after dating across the world like Egypt and London and Lebanon, I moved to Florida and we got married in July of 2008. For the first couple of years, we were enjoying our marriage and we decided to expand our family and have kids, but unfortunately after years of trying and going through three miscarriages, we decided to start living life like having kids is not in our equation, so I started putting myself out there and connecting with people in the modeling field and on social media, and that’s when the doors start opening up and I start getting those amazing phone calls and opportunities.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never a smooth road, in every industry there is always a setback, rejection is something most models struggle with.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
