Hi Taciana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Food has always been a focal point in my family to bring friends and family together and it inspired me to pursue Culinary professionally. With a degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management I have had the opportunity to explore many facets of food and hospitality. My experience ranges from casual fine dining, hotels, and holistic health food operations, to personal chef, and chef instructor. With the birth of BlackBox Kitchen, I have a strong focus on cooking classes, meal preparation, and dining services. Through partnerships and networking I have curated experiences for a community of strangers, business associates, friends, families and also children to experience food from my prospective. It’s a joy that fuels and motivates me at every moment.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not been smooth, but many lessons have been learned along the way. I’ve struggled with finding my place outside of working for a brick and mortar business and transitioning to entrepreneurship. It’s been a battle mentally and also I’m not a South Florida native, so the external challenges of not even know where to start were extremely challenging.

Blackbox Kitchen is about bringing people together, through food and food exploration. For my brand, I am highly focused on cooking classes for social, but also enriching experiences for both groups and private sessions or events. Whether a new experience for foodies or skill refinement for those who want to learn more about cooking, we want to help curate enjoyable memorable moments. I am most proud that the work I have done is making an impact on people that I’ve met and when I get the messages or photos of what they have accomplished through my passion it really solidifies my purpose. What sets me apart is that I genuinely care and want you to have the best experience of whatever your purpose in booking or attending an event is. My methodical planning and every touch is for you be social, build relationship, learn, and enjoy what you showed up for.

My original vision for Blackbox Kitchen was for bulk meal prep for pickup and delivery. However, the mission has developed to so much more.
