Today we’d like to introduce you to Lyne Bartell.
Hi Lyne, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Lyne Pronounced (Line) Bartell, I’m a pure lyricist and accomplished Vocalist, I am an artist that was born and raised in the Muddiness of Miami-Dade County. I have created and mastered My own craft of Rap starting as a child. Through life and viewing situations from multiple angles, I’ve taken my writing and composition to another level, starting from a Young freestyle lyricist Battling Every adversary & Being Crowned a King Of Free-styling With a Record of wins in the hundreds while Only suffering two losses, Into a Seasoned recording Artist, While well known in Miami’s underground scene, taking time off to create different streams of revenue, I find myself ready to elevate myself as well as music through my own words by telling my life story & experiences to the world. I started a buzz in Miami as a jit by performing at the BET Spring Bling event in 05/06, college venues, running through clubs on south beach like the Living Room that Wayne used to frequent, Skyline, Sobe Live and let’s not forget the Amazing one of one KOD king of diamonds.
The body of work I put together earned me a feature on sony showcases “Crazy Exposure” & also recognized in the “Heat Magazine” Memorial Day weekend edition in 09/10
“Captioned More Than UnderGround Hype”. My motivation is drawn directly from my love and ambition to excel which I learned from Rough lessons Of Survival and certain family matters.
The hustle and street-savvy I obtained growing up In “Miami Dade County” shaped my Style and Unorthodox approach to Music. My desire and Sheer determination motivate me to work to reach for the TOP, which represents countless hours in studios perfecting my sound and a lot of self-promotion.
I refuse to sleep. My rugged voice, lyrical rhyme scheme, intricate attention to detail and R&B Capabilities, Has grabbed alot of attention marked comparisons and also put me at the table with alot of big names and well-respected artist, At one point even generating speculation that I was hope and a Bigg voice for rap/hip hop to big up Miami, rebrand this Miami lifestyle as something global and much bigger than the beach, those who know, KNOW! A lot go down on the other side of that bridge.
In short, I see myself as a pure lyricist with honor and loyalty to this music and to this game.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
We are Human, and life can be unpredictable, losses happen, and I’ve faced them all, bad deals, fighting to stay independent, learning the ins and outs of running the business, trauma, putting things on the back burner to make sure Mama straight cause you only get one of them ain’t no cloning her ain’t no redo’s or second mamas you Get ONE!! And I’m passionate about that and if I had to take time off to secure that Bag to make sure she was good then so be it! Heavy is the head that wears the crown that is a true statement word it Nip… But there’s no time like the present, and with a revitalized drive I re-emerge to take the position I believe is mine.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
With music, there’s no half-stepping, I’m very proud. My writing ability, my perfectionist complex. Although brain wrecking the end result when they press play is always worth it. The time I put into artistry and production.
Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
One of my mentors is Kennedy of Miami’s own black smoke social lounge, he gave me a lot of games and a lot of vision, so in finding a mentor, always look at their drive and ambition, how many hats do they wear how much energy are they putting into themselves.
