Today we’d like to introduce you to Lola La’bel.
Hi Lola, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hi, I’m Lola!
LOLA LA’BEL started as a creative experiment back in 2020. There was no big business plan or fancy launch—just an idea, a feeling, and a scrunchie.
We simply wanted to make something. We loved scrunchies, so we got a sewing machine, watched countless YouTube tutorials, and taught ourselves how to sew. And that’s when it clicked. The more we experimented with fabrics and learned new techniques, the more fulfilled we felt. It became more than just making cute accessories—it was a form of self-expression.
Our first launch was small and personal, shared with close friends. We sold 300 scrunchies in just two weeks. That success sparked something bigger: the desire to learn how to make clothes. We started with biker shorts—and that’s when LOLA LA’BEL truly found its name and soul.
From there, we began collaborating with local babes, creating together, and building a brand rooted in community. Our handmade sets are unique and crafted with love. We partner with local creatives and promote a space centered around confidence, kindness, and empowerment.
Our mission is to create cute, versatile sets that support freedom of self-expression. Whether you’re working out, swimming, hiking, or heading out for the day, our comfy sets are made to move with you—and look good doing it.
Beyond fashion, LOLA LA’BEL is about creating community. We host gatherings to bring girlies together in a safe space where you can show up exactly as you are—no pressure, no performance. Just connection, creativity, and confidence
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road for LOLA LA’BEL. We started with zero business experience—just passion and a willingness to learn as we went. There have been so many trials and errors along the way. Humbling moments, long nights, lots of sweat (and definitely some tears).
There were times we weren’t sure where this would go. Doubts crept in, and we questioned if we were doing enough or heading in the right direction. But through all of that, we kept going.
One of the biggest lessons we’ve learned is that it’s not about doing everything or reaching everyone, it’s about the impact we can make within the community we’re part of. That’s what truly matters.
Resilience is what’s kept us from giving up, and it’s what continues to push us forward. Every challenge has made us stronger, and every small win reminds us why we started in the first place.
LOLA LA’BEL isn’t just a brand. It’s a journey, a community, and a reminder that growth doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be real.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Hi, I’m Lola—creator, connector, and founder of LOLA LA’BEL.
I’ve always been drawn to creativity. Whether it’s working with fabrics, brainstorming new ideas, or building something from scratch, creating is where I come alive. I love problem-solving and connecting with people on a real, human level. I’ve been told I’m very disciplined, but I think it’s more about being driven. When I set my mind to something, I’ll figure out a way to bring the vision to life—step by step, no matter how long it takes.
I am also a pilates and yoga instructor. As a movement advocate, I guide my classes rooted in breath work, intentional movement, and mindful connection. My specialties are teaching Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, and Classical Mat Pilates. My classes are designed to help students turn inward while building strength, focus, and awareness through breath-led movement. My flows blend dynamic-sequencing with intentional static holds, creating space for both physical challenge and mental concentration. I believe movement is more than exercise, it is a pathway to presence, resilience, and deeper self-connection. At the heart of her teaching is a commitment to community, collaboration, and meaningful gathering. I strive to create an environment where people can connect, grow, and move together with purpose.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was always the one family and friends looked for guidance. I never actually realized that until later on talking to my cousin she mentioned I was always the leader and the one to take chances. I loved creating, being outside, dancing, and modeling.
