Today we’d like to introduce you to Eliana Oropeza.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I didn’t start thinking I was going to become a Life Coach, a content creator, or even someone sharing her life publicly. I actually began my career in the culinary world, I’m a trained chef and for many years I followed paths that made sense on paper, but didn’t always feel fully aligned.
I’ve always been a curious person… the kind who tries things, explores, and isn’t afraid of starting from zero. That curiosity has taken me through many chapters, entrepreneurship, real estate, creative projects, and eventually into personal growth and coaching.
Everything really began to shift when I started doing my own inner work. Not from a place of “fixing” anything, but from a genuine desire to understand myself better and feel more connected to my life. That journey led me to become a certified life coach, and more importantly, to start sharing what I was learning in a way that felt honest and real.
Over time, that sharing became a community. Today, through my platform, my podcast, and my book, I invite people into a different kind of conversation, one that’s less about searching and more about meeting yourself where you are.
On a more personal note, I’m also a mom of three young men, which has been one of my greatest teachers. Life has also taken me through a divorce and into a new marriage -with a man younger than me- and somehow, all of that has expanded my perspective on love, connection, and what’s possible. Today, I also share a beautiful relationship with the father of my children, which is something I deeply value.
If there’s a thread that connects everything I’ve done, it’s this: I follow curiosity. I allow myself to evolve. And I trust that every experience, no matter how different it may seem, has something to add to who I’m becoming. And somehow, that has led me here.
Staying connected with others through my story, at 54, and still feeling genuinely curious about what else life has waiting for me to experience.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It hasn’t been a straight or “smooth” road and honestly, I wouldn’t want it to be.
More than struggles, I see it as a path full of transitions. There were moments of uncertainty, times when I outgrew certain versions of myself, and seasons where I had to trust without having everything figured out.
Starting over more than once, personally and professionally has been part of my story. So has learning to navigate relationships, motherhood, and big life changes while still staying connected to myself.
But if anything, those moments didn’t take me off track… they were the path I had to navigate.
It’s something I explore more deeply in my book “On the Path to Meeting Myself”.
Those moments have taught me to be more flexible, more open, and to trust life in a deeper way. And today, I don’t see them as obstacles, but as experiences that shaped how I show up for myself and for others
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a certified life coach, content creator, and author. I create spaces through my content, my podcast, and my book where people can reconnect with themselves in a more honest and expansive way.
What I specialize in, and what I’m most known for, is helping people embrace change and reconnect with their numerous talents – guiding them to stop fitting into one fixed identity and instead trust their own evolving path. A big part of that comes from being a multipotentialite.
For years, I moved through different careers and interests -cooking, entrepreneurship, real estate, creative projects- and I used to think that meant I lacked direction. But I eventually realized it was actually my way of fully engaging with life. Today, that perspective is at the core of everything I share.
What I’m most proud of is the community that has grown around this message, people who feel seen, who give themselves permission to evolve, and who start creating lives that feel more like their own.
And what sets me apart is that I don’t come from one fixed identity or a single path. I share from lived experience from having explored, changed, and reinvented myself many times and most importantly from being completely at peace with that.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
For me, networking has never been about strategy, it’s always been about connection.
I’ve never really gone out looking for mentors in a formal way. The most meaningful relationships in my life have come from genuine curiosity, from being open, and from allowing myself to connect with people I admire without overthinking it.
If I had to give advice, I’d say: follow what resonates with you. Reach out, show up, engage but do it from a real place, not because you think you “should.”
Also, be willing to be seen as you are. Some of the best opportunities and relationships have come when I wasn’t trying to impress anyone, but simply sharing honestly and being myself.
And one more thing…don’t underestimate the power of being there for others. Supporting, celebrating, and showing up for people you admire creates connections that feel natural and lasting.
For me, that’s what has worked best.
