Today we’d like to introduce you to Eileen Arzuza.
Hi Eileen, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started to work as a model at a young age which connected me with the fashion & beauty industry, while modeling I also worked as a makeup artist & hair stylist since I learned little with my brother who is also like me, a hairstylist.
When I came to the USA, I graduated as a Cosmetologist and also did keep working as a model for a bit, also I specialized as a Permanent Makeup Artist and did work as a Tattoo Artist for around 5 years. I always like to learn in the areas I feel passion for.
Today, I work as a Cosmetologist, and also in all the areas I am prepared and experienced for.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Because I am self-made, honestly is a big challenge to go on this road myself.
Also, it’s very difficult to deal with haters and people that aren’t very happy with others people’s achievements. One thing being the most challenging is being an immigrant in this country where everything is so expensive, especially in our city of Miami.
Now, I am a citizen and feel proud to be part of such an amazing city and be a witness to its development. So yes, it’s being a hard road especially when corporations lead and control the marketing, etc. Hopefully, our community will support much more local Artists and local small businesses.
But in the process is important to accept the downs too, which makes us stronger and more experienced. Don’t lose hope as entrepreneurs, and artists, and always fight for your rights.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a professional Cosmetologist, I am known for doing great hair color and eyebrows/microblading, etc.
