Today we’d like to introduce you to Dwayne Smalling.
Dwayne, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
DdesignArt is a small business, developed for almost two (2) years now… What really gave DdesignArt the drive or the push is influenced by me not growing up or knowing my father. I’ve always tell myself I won’t sit down or give in not because I don’t know him or had a male figure around to tell me wrong from right. My mom was my main motivator even though she had passed away I’ve always have her in my mind just to achieve my necessary goals so I’ve always try to go 10 times Harder whenever I am the field of work.
Starting off with just one (1) machine, it was difficult at first to get more detailed work done so I decided to go hard and try to save as much as possible to get a next machine that could challenge a more complicated work.. I believed you can achieve anything you put your mind to once you are not a quitter… It take a lot a guts and determination 💪 to be where you want to be so my advice is never give up despite what life may through at you… #nevergiveup
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t a smooth road… Some of the struggles were when I had just one machine working with and I got jobs that require a different machine it was challenging because I couldn’t turn down the job because it was on my profile so I had to find elsewhere to get it done at a particular time…
A next challenge was the proper material sometimes some of the material doesn’t give off the best finish.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
DdesignArt specializes in Graphics Design/T-Shirt Printing Do a lot of artwork, printing, car decals, wall decals, t-shirt printing.
I am most proud of able being able to run my own business which I have always wanted to do for a long time and when I got that break, I was so happy… 😊
What sets me apart from others is that I have good customer service skill, you should be able to let your customers feel very comfortable.
Who else deserves credit in your story?
There are a lot people who played an important role. I cannot list them all but I really appreciate it and my loyal customers as well. They supported me no matter what.
