Hi Dakota, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
Growing up with month-long road trips every year, I instantly wanted to capture all the special moments. I started out just using my phone camera until early 2021 when I purchased my first mirrorless camera. Ever since that day I’ve been traveling and shooting/editing every day to get as much practice as possible.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Since photography is a passion, I haven’t had many struggles. One thing that tends to hold me back is the price of supplies in the photography world.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a 25-year-old travel photographer, that focuses on landscapes and wildlife. This explains the focus on Miami since it’s such a unique ecosystem. As for what sets me apart from others, I’d say it’s my passion and willingness to try new things. Every week I shoot new things and experiment with new editing techniques.
