Hi Ariana, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am the owner of Fein Lab. Fein Lab is a Y2K and edgy clothing brand.
I started this clothing brand because of my love of fashion while an undergrad. I hope to one day turn my small business into a nonprofit organization to give back to the community.
My brand’s name, the “Lab,” stems from my desire to work in the field of medicine. I hope to expand my business and give back to those in need one day medically.
Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Trying to find the correct audience or clientele. It is very hard to have the best strategies or marketing techniques in social media to find the correct target audience.
While it is a learning process, I hope my dedication will pay off! There is always more work to be done.

I am the most proud of balancing my school schedule with my brand.
It is hard to balance both pre-medicine student life and a small business. I hope anyone looking to start a business or become a student sticks to it and works through it. The results will be worth it, and it’s worth the battle.

My favorite app is TikTok.
You can network and be inspired by many different people on TikTok. I find TikTok to be amusing but also helpful when needed when trying to start a new project or solve a problem quickly.
