Today we’d like to introduce you to Alyssa Granda & Jorge De Goti.
Hi Alyssa Granda & Jorge De Goti, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Their story began in January of 2025 when Alyssa and Jorge started dating and immediately fell in love with going out to eat. Every restaurant Jorge would take Alyssa to, she was always in awe of them. He knew every spot, which was impressive. They spoke about it one day and were like “we should definitely make an account to promote Miami restaurants.” They spent a year going to restaurants and exploring new spots and started Table for Two in January 2026. With their love for food and content creation skills, it was a perfect match!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part it’s been a smooth road, but we have struggled gaining followers and views. It’s also difficult to post every day since we both work full time. Also, we have to compete with bigger accounts and obviously it’s not going to happen over night, but we are dedicated to growing this page. This being said, we couldn’t be more excited for the future of table for two.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Alyssa is a content creator based in Miami with more than 5 years of experience working in professional sports. Alyssa is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in 2020. After that, she went on to the University of Florida to study Telecommunications and pursue her dreams to work with the Gators Football team. She worked with the team her Junior and Senior year, traveling with the team doing social content. After college she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Media Production, Management, and Technology, with a minor in Leadership. Moving back home, she landed a seasonal internship with the Miami Heat, her hometown team. She assisted in all aspects of production, with her favorite project filming an Emmy nominated podcast featuring Dwayne Wade and Udonis Haslem. After all the hard work she put into the internship, they later promoted her as a production assistant where she got more involved with the organization, filming games and community events. While she was interning, she worked freelance with the NFL and the MLB shooting games. Not long after that, she landed a full time job with Inter Miami CF as a shooter/ editor and travel videographer. Alyssa can safely say that this is her dream job, working with the greatest athlete of all time. Being up close to greatness is one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced.
Jorge is an Insurance Broker at his own company. He graduated from Belen Jesuit Preparatory School in 2021, which prepared him to graduate from Nova Southeastern University this May. At Nova, he played three years of baseball and majored in Applied Professional Studies with a concentration in Integration Professional Studies. While he was in school, Jorge just opened up his own insurance agency, The De Goti Group, with his two cousins Alex and Chris DeGoti. They work in the fields of Home, Auto, Commercial, Boats, life, and health. They do all types of insurance and are willling to help anyone in needs of looking for a cheaper insurance rate. Jorge is also a coach on the side as he runs the 8u-12u elite squad teams with a group of friends.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
I think the most important lesson we’ve learned is that this account isn’t going to grow over night. We have to work hard to post engaging content so our followers can recommend our account to people looking for great restaurants. At the end of the day, this is a hobby that we do on the side, and it’s a fun and easy way to connect with the Miami community. Good food, good content, and even better company
