Hi Acasha, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
So I was interested in photography since college. I got my first camera as a gift back in 2017. I would shoot things here & there but not consistently. Fast forward to about three years ago, I started to miss making those memories & capturing things through photo so I got serious about it & here we are now… a full photography & 360 photobooth rental business. I’m so grateful
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No it hasn’t. I’ve been discouraged, doubted, not taken seriously. I’ve even quit a few times but God has the final say and He’s been blessing this business so I’m happy about the journey because it’s only going to make it better
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
Ironically, I started with portraits. I have an in-home studio so clients would come there to take their pictures. Then I was hired to do a birthday party & lately that’s what I’ve been hired to do more of. I’ve shot receptions, birthday parties, baby showers, corporate events, church events, etc. I decided to invest in a 360 photobooth two years ago because it seemed to fit what I’ve been doing. Eventually, I want to get into wedding photography
What do you like and dislike about the city?
I’m from south Florida so I love it down here! If I could change anything, it would be the cost of living so people could afford to do things
Pricing:
- Right now I’m running a platinum package for $1,000 which includes photography, 360 booth & bartending
- 360 photobooth rental is $150 per hour for 2 hours; $125 per hour if it’s 3 or more hours
- For photography I usually like to do a consultation for accurate pricing
