Today we’d like to introduce you to Abel Pirela
Hi Abel, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I was born in a small city in Venezuela called Maracay I studied my primary and secondary school in this city then I enrolled to study dental sciences but at that moment I came across social networks I immediately fell in love with social networks and the way you can interact with many people from all over the world, the more followers I had and the more content I created, I realized that I was even a source of inspiration for many young people my age, they told me that I was an example to follow and that I would go very far, so my mind had no further decision to follow my heart so I decided to focus on everything that social networks could offer me. I was always inspired by fashion and all men’s clothing but what always caught my attention was designing my own clothes. I started in a shopping center with My first store called Garage Boy in my hometown Venezuela, there I was a reseller of many clothes. Later, I was given the opportunity to emigrate to the United States where I lived in the city of Los Angeles and created my first company which would be dedicated to designing, manufacturing and distributing. own designs of men’s underwear as well as swimsuits and later sportswear, I have also created many accessories for my line and learned to diversify within the American market. Later, I moved to Miami where I set up my first distribution center throughout the United States and part of the world I feel grateful and at the same time blessed for all the Reception that my followers have had for my STOREIf it were not for them I would not be where I am today.thanks to them i will create more products and show myself that dreams comes true.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has been a very difficult path, sometimes I even lost hope. I grew up in a country with many difficulties and many needs, but over the years I looked at myself and told myself, you can keep going, there is nothing worse in life than not continuing. your dreams and your instincts, at that moment the universe began to create more opportunities for me, of which I knew how to take advantage of each one of them and although it has not been a difficult path, I thank God that it was so because only from complex situations can we learn.. The most difficult thing for me was to leave my country, my family, my friends, all those places where I grew up, but today I carry them in my heart and I am the reflection of everything I experienced and if there is one thing I can say, it is that I am grateful for each one. of those moments because they gave me the strength that even though I am alone in this country I can fight to be an example for all those I have in my heart
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a very creative person, really, sometimes I spend hours detailing and seeing everything that surrounds me and I memorize everything that seems beautiful to me, everything that catches my attention and that creates in my mind an explosion of audiovisual taste, many of my creations in the underwear are things that I live from day to day, creativity has always been part of me, not only do I like to design underwear, I also like to design the interior of houses, restaurants and places where I go, I place in my mind how I would like them to look and Many times I have had the opportunity to make them come true. Today I think that if I didn’t make underwear, swimsuits, sportswear or accessories, I would dedicate myself to interior design.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
patient, persevering, creative, detail-oriented, perfectionist, insistent, dreamer, charismatic, good humored and grateful to life for all the opportunities it gives me.
