Today we’d like to introduce you to Angela Kogan. She and her team share her story with us below.
Please kick things off for us with some background on Angela’s story.
Angela Kogan was born in Israel in 1989. At 16 years old she moved to Tampa, Florida USA to find better opportunities and better living. Regardless of the new culture and the language she was determined to pursue her dreams and create a better living. After graduating high school in 2007 Angela decided to go to beauty school, she graduated beauty & health institute as Electrologist, laser technician and facial specialist. In 2009, she decided to open her own business in Tampa, Florida, as a single mother she felt she had to take her business to the next level and in 2012 moved to Miami, Florida.
As her first steps Angela worked under Dr. Miami practice, while working hard, consistently promoting herself and her business. Bay harbor perfection grew bigger and she got to expend her business, which today hold 14 employees, three doctors and serving most of Miami celebrities. Angela herself holds few certificates; CLHRP, CME, CCE, Phlebotomist, Licensed Aesthetician, and certified Medical Electrologist. she has expertise in dermatology procedures including chemical peels, acne treatments and medical skincare. recently she also formulates her own medical grade skin care line.
Has it been a smooth road?
Definitely has been a challenge, from starting a business to balancing my time with my kids. promoting the business in any kind of way I can which toke a lot of my time from my kids. My best advice is to keep pushing, and never give up.

I am certified in: CLHRP, CCE, CME, Phlebotomist, Medical Aesthetician, Electrologist, and Body contouring specialist. With that being said it does take more than licenses to be successful, I make sure to keep my business updated with the newest treatments and machines. I am also running our social media accounts in order to reach as many clients and exposure as possible. I think what sets us apart from other spas is the character and the vibe we have within our BH team.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts or other resources that you’ve benefited from using?
The book “The Secret” is one of my favorites for all my motivation. but my biggest motivation and advice helper is my nine years old daughter, Liana.
