Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Roya Siroospour of Miami Beach

We recently had the chance to connect with Roya Siroospour and have shared our conversation below.

Roya, really appreciate you sharing your stories and insights with us. The world would have so much more understanding and empathy if we all were a bit more open about our stories and how they have helped shaped our journey and worldview. Let’s jump in with a fun one: Would YOU hire you? Why or why not?
I would absolutely hire myself! I’d say my top qualities are being timely and organized, bringing creativity to my programming, and staying positive and focused no matter what’s going on. I’m very self-driven and always keep moving forward.

When I’m hiring, I look for people who are timely, connect well with guests, and are dedicated to growing and learning. I really value team members who are open to guidance, embrace their uniqueness, have that star quality, and know how to shine and showcase their talents!

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We are RF Studios, located at 910 West Ave in Miami Beach. We offer 30+ classes per week with unique formats including Aerial, Bungee, Floating Sound Baths, HERO barre, Rebound, and many more. We also offer red light body contouring, a eucalyptus steam room, private events, and more! We’d love to invite your readers in to experience RF Studios. You can view our schedule on MindBody or rfstudiosmiami.com/schedule.

Open 7 days a week so our members can experience wellness and community every day. We have several special events planned monthly, and teacher trainings certifying aspiring aerial instructors. Follow our Instagram @RFstudiosMiami to stay tuned for updates and event announcements.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
I’ve released past doubt and fear to grow into my highest self, and that journey is always evolving. I’ve learned that the best way forward is to simply keep moving, trusting the path, and sharing my gifts with the world. Overthinking, waiting, or playing small only holds us back. I think they’re the enemies of true happiness. Some of the things I thought I wouldn’t be good at turned out to be my biggest strengths, and they opened doors I never imagined. Letting go of fear has helped me grow, and I hope to inspire others to believe in themselves and do the same!

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I’d tell my younger self to go for bigger goals and not hold back out of fear of failing or not being perfect. It’s okay to take risks and make mistakes because that’s how you grow. I’d also say, don’t let other people’s opinions define who you are or what you’re capable of. Trust your own path and believe in yourself first and foremost.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m deeply committed to building my brand and sharing it with the world, no matter what. My mission is to create a wave of overall wellness from the inside out. I truly believe that fitness is a powerful tool for healing, both mentally and physically, and I want to help people experience that transformation.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. When do you feel most at peace?
I feel most at peace when I’m teaching. It’s like a moving meditation. My mind becomes clear, and I’m completely in the moment. There’s something really special about guiding others and creating that shared energy in the room. Everything outside like stress, distractions, whatever’s going on just pauses. In that space, I feel grounded, connected, and fully myself.
