Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Robnitia Weekley of Fort Lauderdale

We recently had the chance to connect with Robnitia Weekley and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Robnitia, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building is the community behind The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC. People see the Facebook group, the posts, and the growing engagement, but what they don’t see is the heart, time, and intention poured into creating a safe and empowering space for notaries. I created The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC because I realized there wasn’t a true place where notaries could openly ask questions, share wins, learn from one another, and feel supported without judgment. Behind the scenes, I spend countless hours connecting with members, researching answers, planning topics, creating resources, and making sure people feel welcomed and valued. What nobody sees is the emotional investment the late nights, the brainstorming, the quiet moments of encouraging someone who feels overwhelmed or unsure. The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC isn’t just a platform; it’s a movement built on community, connection, and genuine support. That behind-the-scenes foundation is what I’m most proud of, even if most people never see the work that goes into it.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Robnitia Weekley, and I am the founder of The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC a growing support network created to empower notaries through community, education, and connection. I started my journey as a notary while working full-time as a school social worker, and I quickly realized how overwhelming and isolating the notary world can feel, especially for beginners. That’s what inspired me to build a space where notaries don’t have to navigate the industry alone. The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC is special because it’s not just a group it’s a true community built on encouragement, transparency, and real support. I focus on creating resources, sharing opportunities, and offering guidance that helps notaries grow both personally and professionally. What makes it unique is the heart behind it: every conversation, post, and resource is designed to uplift and remind people that they belong here. Right now, I’m working on expanding The Notary Nook Community Hub into a fuller platform with educational content, networking opportunities, and tools to help notaries feel confident and prepared. My mission is to continue building a space where notaries can learn, collaborate, and thrive no matter what stage they’re in.

Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
The part of me that I’m learning to release is the version of myself that feels responsible for helping everyone, all the time. Helping others has always been a natural part of who I am that’s one of the reasons I became a social worker. I’ve spent years showing up for people, supporting them, and pouring into them, sometimes even when I had very little left for myself. But I’m realizing that while that part of me has served a beautiful purpose, it’s also held me back from creating boundaries and protecting my own energy. I’m learning to release the pressure to be everything for everyone and instead focus on helping from a place of balance, intention, and self-care. I will always be someone who supports and uplifts others that will never change. But I’m letting go of the version of myself that overextends, overcommits, and forgets to pour back into me. This shift is allowing me to grow not only as a social worker and leader, but as a woman who deserves the same care she gives to others.

If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger self, “You don’t have to be strong all the time. It’s okay to rest, it’s okay to ask for help, and it’s okay to put yourself first.” You were never meant to carry everything on your own. Give yourself grace, trust your journey, and know that everything you’re praying for will come just keep going and keep believing. You grow into a woman you’ll be proud of.

Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the notary industry is the idea that you have to figure everything out alone. So many new notaries are led to believe that this field is simple, straightforward, and that support isn’t really needed, but the truth is, there’s a lot to learn, and the learning curve can feel overwhelming. Many people won’t admit how confusing those early steps can be. Another lie is that everyone is doing perfectly fine. Notaries often feel pressure to look like they have it all together, when in reality many are struggling to find clients, understand their state laws, or run their business with confidence. There’s not enough transparency about the challenges and that creates unnecessary anxiety for beginners. And finally, the industry often paints success as something that happens instantly if you “follow the blueprint.” The truth is, success takes time, patience, community, and real support. That’s exactly why I created The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC because notaries deserve a space where the truth is told, questions are welcomed, and growth is supported without judgment.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What will you regret not doing?
I think I would regret not fully pursuing the communities and opportunities I feel called to buildlike The Notary Nook Community Hub, LLC. There’s something incredibly powerful about creating a space where people feel supported, empowered, and seen, and I know firsthand how much of a difference that can make in someone’s life. The thought of leaving that potential untapped, of not giving others the encouragement, guidance, and resources they need, is something I don’t want to look back on with regret. I would also regret not taking care of myself along the way. It’s easy to pour so much energy into helping others that you forget to prioritize your own growth, your own dreams, and your own well-being. I want to live a life where I take bold steps, embrace opportunities, and push past fear and doubt, while also setting boundaries that protect my energy and my passion. Ultimately, my greatest regret would be looking back and realizing I held myself back from making an impact, from fully showing up for the community I care about, and from stepping into the person I’m capable of becoming. I want to give my heart, my ideas, and my vision the chance to flourish—because that’s how I know I’m truly living with purpose.
