Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Radmila Lolly

We recently had the chance to connect with Radmila Lolly and have shared our conversation below.

Good morning Radmila , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are always the same—I thrive on routine. The very first thing I do is make my coffee. Then I stretch to wake up my body, followed by a quick drainage and body massage, including a facial and scalp massage to activate all my cells. After that, I take a shower, and get ready for the day—makeup, hair, everything. I finish my morning with spiritual reading and prayers, then go through my emails and organize all my tasks. By then, I’m fully energized and ready to go.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am an interdisciplinary artist — a singer, composer, and couture fashion designer. My work lives at the intersection of music, art, and performance. Whether I’m on stage, in the studio, or designing a gown, everything I create tells a story and reflects my vision of art as a complete experience — where sound, movement, and style become one.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
To me, the most important thing in this world is to be kind. My mother struggled when I was younger, and that experience shaped how I see life. It taught me compassion and the importance of giving back. I believe there’s no point in having a voice if we don’t use it — not just to be heard, but to help others.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I’ve never felt the need to give up — because once you’ve already put in the time and effort, why stop? You’ve invested too much to walk away. You can change your route along the way, but the destination should always remain what you’ve worked for.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. Whom do you admire for their character, not their power?
I’ve always admired Diane Keaton. I only had a brief interaction with her, but it stayed with me. I was very sad to learn that she passed away. To me, she represented what it means to be well known for what you do — not just famous. What stood out most was her kindness. I was on a plane doing finger exercises for piano, and she asked me what I was doing. We had a short conversation, but she was so genuinely curious and warm, asking about my work and sharing her enthusiasm. It reminded me how a few minutes with someone can leave a lasting impact. I aspire to be that kind of person — someone whose kindness and authenticity resonate long after the moment passes.

Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope that when people think of me, they remember that I was kind — and that I continue to inspire others, even after I’m gone, to be the best versions of themselves.
