Let’s jump in with a fun one: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
I am a big fan of sports, so I have been dialed in. Can’t wait for the NFL season to officially kick off. Go Fins!
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am the founder and CEO of M.E.I. Recordings, a public relations (PR) firm, and Psalm Infinity, a clothing company. I am also the founder and EIC of M.E.I. News, a media outlet.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
God.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Many times, haha. I think when you start a business, self-doubt is a given. But, eventually, quitting is no longer a thought or an option. You have to push through the idea of giving up as it is a marathon and not a sprint. Eventually, things start falling into place and you get a good system going.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What important truth do very few people agree with you on?
That everything in life is gray – nothing is black-and-white.
