Life, Values & Legacy: Our Chat with Louidji Joseph

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Louidji Joseph. Check out our conversation below.

Good morning Louidji, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What do you think others are secretly struggling with—but never say?
I believe allot of individuals are living in a state of depression because they are trying to cope in a world that is telling them who they are and how they should live.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Louidji Joseph and my life is a hidden gem. I’ve experienced what some would call an “L” as a lost.

However I approached my “L” as a lesson. While working on Doyemegallery I learned allot. For example how to create a website, how to create advertisement, how to market and ect.

The greatest lesson I learned was to let go. Letting go of Doyemegallery was tough, however my God had something more important to focus my attention too.

This was to focus on people that are struggling with depression and anxiety.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Mteule wa Mungu which in Swahili means God’s Chosen One.

Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, I was trying to understand who I was and what my purpose was. Focus on the outer chatter of trying to be the social normality.

I was falling into destructive, addictive habits. Angry at the world and myself.

So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I am motivated to help others the best God sees fit. Currently I am providing motivational speeches.

I use this to not only speak to my audience, but to also to speak to myself.

Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I served a greater God, and I lived for Yaweh.

Constantly trying to help others with the God given gifts that he lended me while here on earth.
