Lola Olivero shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Lola, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
The first 90 minutes of my day are all about setting the tone of my day. I try to keep it nice and calm. If my morning starts with a rush, I already know my day will be a nightmare.
I start by easing into the morning with my lemon + chlorophyll water, which has become a little ritual for me. Then I spend a few minutes on the vibration plate to wake up my body, boost circulation, and feel energized from the inside out. Lately I’m obsessed with the vibration plate, overall my body feels lighter, less headaches and more energy in the morning,
Once my body feels awake, I move into emails and do some light admin with Daily Habits while I drink my protein shake or have breakfast — nothing overwhelming, just checking in, responding and getting clear on priorities for the day. I like to feel organized before I step into the day.
After that, I get ready and head to work. Those first 90 minutes aren’t about doing more, they’re about creating space so the rest of the day flows better for me.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m Lola, founder at Daily Habits & Daily Habits Wellness Club in Miami, FL.
Daily Habits was created from a simple belief: real transformation comes from the small things we do every day. What started as a personal passion for holistic self-care has grown into a wellness space where skin health, body care, and lifestyle rituals are treated as one.
We focus on results-driven facials, therapeutic bodywork, acupuncture, herbal teas, and thoughtfully formulated skincare — all designed to support the nervous system, the skin barrier, and overall balance. Everything we offer is intentional, gentle, and effective, without being overwhelming or performative.
What makes Daily Habits special is the experience. It’s not just about a service — it’s about slowing down, reconnecting with your body, and leaving the negativity behind. Right now, I’m focused on expanding our treatment offerings, refining our skincare line, and continuing to build a community around conscious wellness that feels accessible, human, and real.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. Who taught you the most about work?
My dad taught me the most about work.
Watching him showed me what consistency, discipline, and responsibility really look like. He taught me that showing up every day — even when it’s hard or uncomfortable — is what builds something meaningful. That work ethic is the foundation of everything I do today and the way I lead my brand.
He has shared all his life experiences with me, and passed on the many reflections and lessons learned along the way. Through his stories, his discipline, and the way he approaches challenges, he taught me resilience, humility, and the value of doing things with integrity. Those lessons didn’t just shape how I work — they shaped who I am, and they continue to guide every decision I make as a founder.
When did you stop hiding your pain and start using it as power?
I stopped hiding my pain when I truly learned that it’s okay to fail — that failure isn’t a weakness, but part of the process of becoming who you’re meant to be. For a long time, I thought I had to have everything figured out, to always be strong, always in control. But once I allowed myself to make mistakes, to sit with discomfort, and to learn from it instead of fighting it, something shifted.
I also learned that not everyone is meant to stay on your path forever. Some people are lessons, some are mirrors, and some are only meant to walk with you for a season. Letting go of expectations, relationships, and versions of myself that no longer aligned was painful — but it was also freeing.
That’s when I realized that pain doesn’t have to be hidden or numbed. When you face it honestly, it becomes a teacher. It sharpens your intuition, builds resilience, and gives you depth. From that place, pain turns into power and you move forward with more clarity, self-trust, and compassion, both for yourself and for others.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What are the biggest lies your industry tells itself?
One of the biggest lies in the wellness and beauty industry is that more is always better — more products, more steps, more treatments, more trends. In reality, the skin and the nervous system thrive on consistency, simplicity, and intention, not overload.
Wellness does not need to look perfect. Healing is often not linear, or aesthetic. Real wellness is messy, cyclical, and deeply personal.
The idea that results have to come at the expense of balance — that you have to push, strip, or aggressively “fix” the body to see change. I don’t believe in that. True results come when we work with the body, not against it.
Before we go, we’d love to hear your thoughts on some longer-run, legacy type questions. When do you feel most at peace?
I’m a very anxious and stressful girl if I’m honest. Peace does not come easy to me.
However, when I do feel it, it often comes from alignment — when I’m actually focused in letting go and allowing myself to breathe again.
I am a firm believer in breathing exercises, I have a coach who I love visiting at least once a month, who guides me through breathing exercises and gives me homework! She has changed my life in so many ways.
It’s amazing how much you can shift your lifestyle, mindset and overall wellness by simply learning how to properly breathe.
