False Cris shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Hi False, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What is a normal day like for you right now?
typical day for me starts with breakfast, then I meet with my manager to go over any calls or meetings I have scheduled. After that, I make time for the gym and lunch, and then I head to the studio with my producer. We’ll spend the afternoon creating beats and usually record on them later that night.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I’m professionally known as FalseCris. I’m an artist and entrepreneur who has been building my craft and vision from an early age. What sets FalseCris apart is a focus on authenticity and creativity—whether it’s in the music I create, the energy I bring into the studio, or the brand I’m building around my name. Every day is dedicated to growth: meeting with my team, working closely with my producer, and pushing boundaries.
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
I’d say my manager Kaele & Oso really saw the vision in me before I fully saw it myself. They recognized the potential in what I was doing and pushed me to take it more seriously, not just as a passion but as a career. Having someone believe in me that way gave me the confidence to keep pushing and to see myself the way they already did
What’s something you changed your mind about after failing hard?
After failing hard, I realized that listening too much to what everyone else has to say doesn’t really get you anywhere. At the end of the day, most of it is just opinion-based, and if you let it define you, you’ll lose sight of who you are. What I’ve changed my mind about is giving weight to those outside voices—I’ve learned that trusting my instincts and knowing my own self-worth matters more than anyone else’s opinion. That shift has made me stronger and more focused on my own path.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? Is the public version of you the real you?
I’d say the public version of me is definitely real, but it’s not the whole picture. What people see is my drive, my music, my brand—that’s all authentically me. But like anyone, there are deeper layers that don’t always make it to the spotlight. The public sees the vision and the work, while the private side of me is where I process, grow, and stay grounded. Both sides are real, they just show different parts of who I am.
Thank you so much for all of your openness so far. Maybe we can close with a future oriented question. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
If I knew I only had 10 years left, I’d stop wasting time second-guessing myself. I’d put all that energy into creating, living fully, and being present with the people and passions that really matter. Time is too short to carry doubt—you’ve got to move with purpose
