Monica, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I have always been into any that has to do with beauty since I was about 7, I used to love to watch people do their makeup and hair as a kid. Then I started my own journey of beauty schools, and I’ve been doing hair ever since I love to do hair I’m always trying to learn new things I love to watch very successful people in the industry it motivates me to become a better stylist right now I’m just a freelance stylist with hope of opening my own shop one day
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It definitely was not a smooth road at one point I quit school and just didn’t focus on it like I should have I wasn’t far from completing the course but I just wasn’t motivated enough and finally one day after being pushed and pushed I realized I have to go back finish and keep following my dream and as for advise if you really love what you do don’t ever stop trying to achieve that dream and keep pushing

So I am a fully certified cosmetologist working in my way to my state license I specialize in hair coloring , blow drying, cutting , styling, I offer all types of services I also wax and do makeup but my passion is hair I live a great transformation one day I would like for my name to as big as ever and just be recognized as a great stylist
Were there people and/or experiences you had in your childhood that you feel laid the foundation for your success?
Nit really I was pretty much a Tomboy growing up, aside from me watching adults put makeup on I would be the first in my family to take interest in being a hair stylist or anything with the beauty industry.
