Katalin Becker of Miami, Brickell on Life, Lessons & Legacy

Katalin Becker shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.

Katalin, a huge thanks to you for investing the time to share your wisdom with those who are seeking it. We think it’s so important for us to share stories with our neighbors, friends and community because knowledge multiples when we share with each other. Let’s jump in: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
First of course because of my job have to check my phone if I got any new bookings in or any questions from customers. Right after hydration with a green juice and give a call to my parents since they are in Hungary and it’s getting late over there. I like to talk to them for half an hour so they can feel me close. We make coffee and breakfast with my fiance to start our day.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Katie’s Luxury Lashes is my own business over 10years now which I’m really proud of. I started with eyelash extensions and slowly added newer and newer services. Currently I do organic airbrush tan, lash lifts, brow lamination, powdered brows and I specialize providing a VIP experience so I provide house-hotel calls so my clients can get pampered at their own comfort.
My products are luxurious number one on the market, I do a lot of research before I work with any of them.

Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
When I came to United States 14 years ago alone, left my home country and my whole family . I know I’ll make it I know I have to make it, there is no other choice.

What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Unfortunately a heart break, probably most of us go through on it but that’s how I build my business. I put all my energy into it and become successful and during the time slowly I healed.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Absolutely. I can’t lie and even if I try people now it’s not me. I’m the same for the public and I’m the same in my real life.

Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
I would start traveling the world until the end. Asia is my favorite and there our money goes further so i could enjoy easily my last 10years without stress, hustle, work.
