Jarred Isgette shared their story and experiences with us recently and you can find our conversation below.
Jarred, so good to connect and we’re excited to share your story and insights with our audience. There’s a ton to learn from your story, but let’s start with a warm up before we get into the heart of the interview. What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
Wake up at 4:45 AM, hit a 3-minute cold plunge, stretch and pray, crush a 60-minute weight training workout, fuel up with breakfast, get ready, and roll into the office by 7:30 AM primed to dominate the day.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jarred Isgette, and I’m the founder of OnPoint Tech Systems here in South Florida. For the past 15 years, my team and I have specialized in creating luxury smart home and business environments where technology works beautifully in the background so life and work can take center stage. From seamless audio-video systems and high-performance networks to lighting, security, and full home automation, we handle everything under one roof—including our newest division, OnPoint Electric, which brings licensed electrical expertise into the mix.
What makes us different is simple: we obsess over the details. We call it “Bringing Precision Into Vision.” No gimmicks, no shortcuts—just craftsmanship, reliability, and a white-glove experience that makes technology feel effortless for our clients.
I started this journey because I believe technology should enhance the way we live every day, not complicate it. Today, we’re continuing to grow, serving incredible homeowners, builders, and businesses throughout Palm Beach, Broward & Dade counties, and building a brand known for trust, innovation, and next-level service.
Every home has a story, and we’re here to help that story shine a little brighter.
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
Before the world told me who I had to be, I was someone constantly measuring myself against everyone else — trying to justify my actions, goals, and progress based on what others were doing. The problem with that mindset is that the people you compare yourself to often have completely different ambitions, standards, and levels of discipline. When you base your self-worth or direction on their path, you automatically limit your own potential.
Over time, I learned that true growth comes from competing only with the person in the mirror. I stopped chasing validation and started chasing my own standards — the expectations I’ve set for myself, not what society says success should look like. That shift changed everything. It gave me clarity, confidence, and purpose. I realized the goal isn’t to be better than anyone else — it’s to become the best version of who I’m capable of being.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Countless times. The truth is, when you’re chasing something extraordinary — not just comfort or success, but extreme success, health, and financial freedom — you’re going to hit walls that make most people quit. My goals have always been massive, and with that comes equally massive challenges.
There were moments where the weight felt heavy — where exhaustion, doubt, or setbacks made me question if it was all worth it. But discipline and consistency became my armor. I learned that when you make discipline a non-negotiable, you don’t rely on motivation — you rely on commitment. And once that mindset becomes automatic, giving up simply isn’t an option anymore.
At that point, you become unstoppable. The only ingredients you really need are unshakable discipline, relentless consistency, and goals so big they scare you a little. When those pieces come together — the sky isn’t the limit; it’s just the starting point.
Next, maybe we can discuss some of your foundational philosophies and views? What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committed to the lifelong pursuit of personal excellence, financial freedom, and what I call ultra success — not for the sake of titles or status, but so I can better serve others. I believe you can’t pour from an empty cup. The stronger, wiser, and more disciplined I become, the more equipped I am to create opportunities, build others up, and make a real impact on the people around me — my family, my team, and my community.
To me, success isn’t just about achieving personal milestones. It’s about using what you’ve built to lift others higher — whether that’s helping someone find their purpose, mentoring a teammate, or giving someone the resources and confidence to change their life. That’s the mission that drives me every day. And no matter how long it takes, that’s a mission worth dedicating my life to.
Okay, we’ve made it essentially to the end. One last question before you go. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
That I helped them — plain and simple. That in some way, I made their life better. Maybe I gave them an opportunity, maybe I inspired them to think bigger, or maybe I just showed what’s possible through example.
At the end of the day, money and success fade — but impact doesn’t. I want people to say that I showed up, I cared, and I pushed them to be more. That’s the story I want told.
