From the vibrant rhythms of dance to the glamorous lights of television and the creative world of beauty, my journey has been one of passion, perseverance, and constant evolution. As an immigrant woman who arrived in Miami with dreams of making a mark in the entertainment industry, my story is a testament to the power of determination and the pursuit of one’s dreams.
My adventure began with a deep-rooted passion for dance and performance, honed through years of professional training. Moving to the United States was both exhilarating and daunting. Upon arriving in Miami, I quickly realized that pursuing my dreams would require more than just talent—it would take grit and resilience. I began offering dance lessons to both kids and adults, using my background to connect with my new community. Despite the challenges of establishing myself in a new country, my unwavering resolve and love for the art kept me moving forward.
Miami proved to be a fertile ground for growth. My hard work paid off as I started participating in television shows for Telemundo and other Hispanic networks. Studying at Miami Dade College was another significant milestone, providing me with valuable insights and opportunities in the entertainment industry. It was during this period that I solidified my career aspirations and prepared for the next chapter of my journey.
The move to Los Angeles marked a pivotal turn in my career. It was here that I achieved a long-held dream—working as a TV host for Red Carpets and as a spokesperson for Univision Los Angeles. This role allowed me to shine on a larger stage and collaborate with prestigious networks like CNN en espanol and other Latin American channels. Each experience broadened my horizons and solidified my place in the entertainment world.
Life took a beautiful turn when I found love and decided to build a family. With my husband by my side, we ventured into a new and exciting field—beauty. Together, we launched YazzBeauty, a makeup brand that has become a significant part of my life. also inspired on finally create something that would help women enhance their beauty more practically, based on the experience behind the cameras and always in a rush to have makeup done, i have launched a brand with very easy and practical makeup tools that can get you ready in less than 2 minutes. That’s when my 4 in 1 makeup pen came in.. I felt it was perfect, sensational, and small enough to fit on an easily portable clutch. The journey of developing YazzBeauty has been both challenging and rewarding, and it continues to inspire me as I explore new avenues in the beauty industry .We are continuously growing and developing new products designed to make makeup application easier and more practical for women everywhere. Our goal is to create innovative tools and solutions that empower women to enhance their beauty effortlessly.
Reflecting on my journey, I am filled with gratitude and pride. Each step, from teaching dance to hosting television shows and creating a beauty brand, has been fueled by a relentless drive and a passion for following my dreams. My story is a reminder that with perseverance and dedication, even the most ambitious dreams can become a reality.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
While my experience in connecting with audiences through the stage and camera has been invaluable, the online business landscape introduced new hurdles that required adaptation and growth.
One of the primary challenges has been building and establishing a strong digital presence. Unlike live interactions where instant feedback and personal connections are prevalent, online platforms require a strategic approach to reach and engage audiences. Learning to navigate social media algorithms, digital marketing, and e-commerce dynamics has been a steep learning curve. Ensuring that YazzBeauty stands out in a crowded market involves not only understanding online trends but also effectively communicating our brand’s unique value proposition.
Another significant obstacle has been managing the logistical aspects of an online business. From inventory management to shipping logistics, the backend operations of e-commerce are complex and demanding. Developing efficient systems for these processes has been crucial to providing a seamless customer experiences.
Despite these challenges, each obstacle has been an opportunity for growth. Embracing the learning curve and leveraging my background in media and performance has enabled me to approach online business with creativity and resilience. As YazzBeauty continues to evolve, these experiences are shaping our approach to innovation and customer engagement in the digital age.
