Hi Vanessa and Dennys, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
We are Vanessa and Dennys Viera and we are the owners of Casa Viera. Casa Viera is a family-owned business established in 2017. The idea of opening our business started when we had our daughter, Alexa. We started the first two years creating personalized apparel, decals, and drinkware. In 2019 right before the peak of the pandemic, we re-branded and aligned our products and services to more handmade wooden and acrylic products for your homes, business, and events.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
As with anything in life, having a business has its ups and downs. When we re-branded in 2019, it was a step into the unknown. Luckily, the learning curve with our new machinery and software was minimal and we hit the ground running. However, every month is different. From high sell months to creative blocks to knowing when to step away for family time. It’s all part of the business! Knowing when to take a step back is key and keeping your why in focus is crucial!
