Hi Valerie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
From selling real estate in Paris’s Faubourg Saint Honoré to Miami’s skyline.
This French couple emigrated to Miami with their children. Marc managed their highly successful American fast-food restaurant for five years while Valerie worked as a real estate agent. After four years, she became a real estate broker. When Marc sold the restaurant and passed his Realtor license exam, they created their own agency, Miami Dream Real Estate. For them, the name represents both the realization of their dream and their ability to help others realize theirs in South Florida. When they arrived, they made personal real estate investments, but today they work with family offices and foreign and American investors.
Their agency is a family business that offers all sales, purchase, and rental services, as well as property management.
They have a comprehensive knowledge of the market for both commercial and residential properties.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Changing countries and lifestyles is not always a long and easy road, but it is such a rewarding experience. Marc had already lived in many countries during his world tour, including England and Australia. Valerie had already worked in NYC for three years on the Upper East Side. So emigrating was just another step in their lives, rather than a major upheaval. However, they had prepared very carefully for their arrival in the United States. They took the time they needed to find the right business to invest in, the neighborhood they wanted to live in, and the house where they wanted to raise their children. As for the rest, they enjoyed every discovery: the cities, the islands, the wildlife, nature, the food, and the multiculturalism.
Not every day was a vacation, but traffic jams under palm trees and sunshine are always more pleasant.
