Inspiring Conversations with Stephanie Gelabert of Pure Title & Escrow

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stephanie Gelabert.

Hi Stephanie , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started my journey in real estate through property management back in 2013, where I quickly fell in love with the industry and everything that comes with helping people through major life transitions. In 2014, I obtained my real estate license and began working at a real estate company, which gave me valuable hands-on experience in the market and client relations.

As I continued growing in the industry, I realized I wanted a deeper understanding of the closing side of transactions, so I began working at title companies to expand my knowledge. Along the way, I also opened my own real estate brokerage in 2016. Over the years, I gained experience working with several title companies as well as real estate attorneys, which helped shape my understanding of the legal and operational side of real estate transactions.

In September 2024, I officially opened Pure Title & Escrow LLC, and we are now approaching our second-year anniversary. Throughout this journey, one of the biggest blessings has been the relationships and connections we’ve built through networking and collaboration within the industry. Every step along the way has helped shape where we are today, and I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Most recently, I also expanded into the cleaning industry by opening a cleaning company that specializes in move-ins, move-outs, and post-remodel cleanings. It has been a great addition alongside real estate and title services, allowing us to help clients through every stage of the transition process.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. For the last two years, I have also been a full-time student, so balancing multiple companies, school, and personal life has been one of the biggest challenges. There have been many long days, late nights, and moments where it felt overwhelming trying to juggle everything at once.

At the same time, I am incredibly passionate about my goals and the future I’m building. One of the biggest blessings throughout this journey has been having my partner not only as my life partner, but also as my business partner. We go through the struggles together, push each other to keep going, and celebrate every win along the way – big or small.

I’m also a parent, which adds another layer of responsibility and motivation. Learning how to balance family, business ownership, and education has taught me resilience, discipline, and the importance of perseverance. Even though the road hasn’t been easy, every challenge has helped shape me into the person and business owner I am today.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
My businesses are centered around helping people through some of the biggest transitions in their lives, whether that is buying a home, selling a property, closing a transaction, or preparing a home for move-in.

At Pure Title & Escrow, we specialize in residential and commercial closings, title services, escrow services, and helping guide buyers, sellers, agents, and lenders smoothly to the closing table. One thing that sets us apart is that we truly focus on relationships and communication. Real estate transactions can be stressful, so we pride ourselves on creating an experience where clients feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout the process. We have built our brand heavily through networking, word of mouth, and maintaining strong relationships within the real estate industry.

I believe what makes our companies different is that we are very hands-on and service driven. We are not just focused on “getting the deal done” – we genuinely care about the people behind every transaction. Because I have experience in property management, real estate sales, title, and working alongside real estate attorneys, I’m able to bring a well-rounded perspective that helps clients navigate challenges more confidently.

Brand-wise, I am most proud of the reputation we are building and the trust people place in us. Seeing repeat clients, referrals, and the relationships we’ve created throughout the years means everything to me. I also take pride in building businesses that feel approachable, modern, and community-oriented while still maintaining professionalism and high standards of service.

More than anything, I want readers to know that our brands are built on passion, perseverance, relationships, and genuine care for our clients. We are constantly growing, evolving, and finding new ways to better serve our community.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone just starting out is to stay consistent and do not let fear stop you from taking opportunities. In the beginning, it is easy to compare yourself to others or feel discouraged when success does not happen overnight, but growth truly comes from showing up every single day and continuing to learn.

I also think networking and relationships are everything. Some of the biggest opportunities in my career came from simply building genuine connections with people and being willing to learn from others in the industry. Never underestimate the power of being kind, dependable, and maintaining a good reputation.

One thing I wish I knew earlier is that there is no “perfect time” to start something. You will never feel fully ready, and there will always be challenges along the way. Sometimes you just have to take the leap and trust yourself enough to figure it out as you go.

I would also tell people not to be afraid of wearing multiple hats in the beginning. Starting a business takes sacrifice, patience, and resilience. There will be long nights, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but those moments are also what shape you and prepare you for growth.

Most importantly, believe in your vision even when others may not fully understand it yet. Stay passionate, stay disciplined, and celebrate the small wins along the way because they eventually become the foundation of something much bigger.
