Hi Shannelle, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Nelle’s Fashion Fusion is an online-based boutique/store that sells a wide range of clothing items and accessories. I began this business at the beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, I was out of school doing most of my classes online so I had a lot of free time in between to think and brainstorm what exactly I wanted to do. I was motivated to start my business because I always wanted to be successful at a very young age and I am always determined to make all the necessary sacrifices to be successful.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
I can say starting was not very smooth because as I stated, I am a student (university student). I have a lot of school expenses, so starting a new business will require financing. With the help of mother and my savings, I started off with a small stock that was just enough to gain a profit from it. After my first sales, I began to purchase more items and my profits have increased, this also helped my business to grow and attract more customers.

My Business name is Nelle’s Fashion Fusion. The name was derived from my actual name Shannelle, fusion was used to incorporate the variety of items my business sells. I cater to both male and female. I do islandwide deliveries at affordable prices.
What sets Nelle’s Fashion Fusion apart from others is my consistency, affordability and customer service. I always offer adorable deals and good customer service to my customers at all times.
