Today, we’d like to introduce you to Savannah Miller.
Hi Savannah, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My journey from a small Texas town to starting the launch of my own company, Savage Seller, in the vibrant city of Miami has been nothing short of remarkable. It all began with a car accident during my college years, an event that not only drastically impacted my mental health and physical appearance but also led to the discovery of a brain mass. This health challenge required a craniotomy, including the removal of my pineal gland. The resulting medical expenses prompted me to find a creative solution to express my style and fit in socially.
Savage Seller emerged as my brainchild, a platform designed to empower students by providing affordable access to trendy outfits, textbooks, and more. The financial strain of my medical journey fueled my determination to create a space where students could navigate college life without breaking the bank.
Growing up, I’ve always felt like I didn’t truly fit in and was a target for criticism my whole life. Amid these challenges, in college, I found a constant companion in my emotional support dog, Samson, a charismatic Pomeranian who quickly became the show’s star.
Post-surgery, I faced the challenge of confidence, particularly with the visible aftermath of shaving the back of my head due to my brain surgery. However, this setback became a source of strength, and the experience spurred personal growth and resilience. Alongside my journey with Savage Seller, I embraced various opportunities, including participating in a reality web series, trying my hand at modeling, and now embarking on undisclosed but exciting ventures that I can share in the near future.
My life often feels like a cinematic narrative, with each twist contributing to the positive, spunky individual I am today. The decision to establish myself in Miami and pursue Savage Seller reflects not just a business venture but a commitment to turning life’s challenges into opportunities for growth and empowerment. My faith in God has been a guiding light through these challenges, allowing me to navigate my journey and extend a helping hand to others along the way. This is a very small look into my story, but it would take a book to cover my wildlife.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
My journey, though incredibly rewarding, has been far from smooth. Growing up, I faced constant struggles, including an extremely toxic stepfather who was no longer in my life. I saw no end to the hardships and no way out during high school. However, with the help of my supportive mom, I made it through the darkest time of my life and have come out on top.
Additionally, my health issues not only had a profound impact on my physical and mental well-being but also resulted in significant medical expenses due to a required craniotomy, the removal of my pineal gland, and many other expenses. As someone who has had to be financially independent since my freshman year of college, this was a rather large obstacle.
Navigating the aftermath of the surgery, especially with the visible changes like shaving the back of my head, was a hurdle in itself. The financial strain from these medical challenges inspired the creation of Savage Seller. The road to establishing and launching Savage Seller came with its set of hurdles, but each obstacle served as a catalyst for personal and professional growth.
Additionally, the journey through growing up my whole life, where I always felt like I didn’t fit in and faced harsh criticism, fueled my determination to create a platform that fosters inclusivity and affordability. Despite these struggles, my resilience, support system, and faith have guided me forward even when faced with adversity.
While the path may not have been smooth, each twist and turn has contributed to the resilience and positive spirit that defines me.
We’ve been impressed with Savage Seller, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
What I love most about living in Miami is the abundance of opportunities and the dynamic networking scene. The city is filled with ambitious individuals who dream big, and their energy inspires me to push my limits. The captivating skyline is a daily source of motivation, especially considering my background, where non-conventional jobs were rare or impossible. Miami is a city that encourages creativity and success for everyone.
Moving to Miami has proven to be my best decision ever. I appreciate the dog-friendly atmosphere everywhere, allowing me to bring my child (Pomeranian), Samson, wherever I go. On the flip side, my only downside is the pervasive need to pay for parking everywhere. However, given the convenience of walking almost everywhere, this minor inconvenience becomes negligible in the grand scheme.
