Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarnia Leveille.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started my practice about three years ago as a fully mobile wellness service, offering IV infusions and vitamin injections while meeting clients where they were—at home, at work, and within the community. From the very beginning, my family played an important role in supporting my vision, whether through encouragement, flexibility, or helping me balance the demands of entrepreneurship and family commitments. Within the first six months, I transitioned from a mobile model to a brick-and-mortar location. That shift significantly increased my client base and allowed me to deepen relationships and better serve the surrounding community.
As the practice grew, I expanded into medically supervised weight-loss services, which quickly became a major success. Through this work, I became even more connected to my community and began hearing a consistent concern—clients were struggling to access timely, personalized primary care. Many turned to me not just for wellness support, but for guidance on their overall health.
That perspective became personal after a pivotal experience of my own. One day, I received a call from my primary care provider canceling my annual appointment that was scheduled for the following week. After more than 15 years as a patient, I was informed the practice would only be accepting Medicare patients moving forward. It was frustrating, disheartening, and eye-opening.
That moment ignited a new passion—to care for individuals and families in my community by removing the barriers and middlemen that often complicate healthcare. Eight months ago, I introduced a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model into my practice, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience for both my clients and me. With no insurance restrictions, longer appointment times, minimal wait periods, and truly personalized care, the model allows me to show up fully for my patients.
Today, my practice blends wellness, weight management, and Direct Primary Care to deliver accessible, relationship-based healthcare rooted in trust, continuity, and community—prioritizing the patient, not the system.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Early on, I imagined opening my practice and experiencing an immediate surge in clientele within the first few months. In reality, that expectation was an overshoot and required a shift in both mindset and strategy.
One of the biggest challenges was identifying target market and building trust—especially while launching the practice as I continued to work a full-time clinical job. Medically supervised weight loss is a deeply personal journey, and many clients were initially hesitant to share their experiences, even with close family and friends. As a result, word-of-mouth referrals often didn’t happen until months later, once clients felt confident and secure in their progress.
Another challenge was managing time during slower periods while remaining fully available for clients, all while balancing the responsibilities of business ownership and family life. Learning to stay consistent, patient, and encouraged during those seasons became a major area of personal and professional growth.
Despite these obstacles, the journey has been incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned so much and continue to learn every day. Even with the challenges, I wouldn’t change what I do—because the impact on my clients’ lives makes every step worthwhile.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Flawless Effect Wellness is a Direct Primary Care practice designed to deliver healthcare without the barriers of traditional insurance. The practice is built around relationship-based care, offering extended appointment times, minimal wait periods, and direct access to a provider who truly knows each patient’s health journey.
What sets Flawless Effect Wellness apart is the intentional blending of Direct Primary Care with wellness-focused services, including medically supervised weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and IV therapy. This approach allows clients to address both preventive care and ongoing health goals in one supportive, streamlined setting—without feeling rushed or overlooked.
The practice is especially known for its personalized care model and for meeting patients where they are, both medically, mentally, and personally. Many clients come to Flawless Effect Wellness after feeling frustrated by traditional healthcare systems, and they stay because of the transparency, continuity, and trust that are central to the experience.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of creating a space where patients feel HEARD, VALUED, and EMPOWERED to take control of their health. Flawless Effect Wellness is more than a clinic—it’s a community-centered practice focused on sustainable health, accessibility, and compassionate care. I want readers to know that every service offered is rooted in the belief that healthcare should be personal, proactive, and centered on the individual—not the system.
What were you like growing up?
Growing up, I was reserved, quiet, and often kept to myself. I enjoyed anything related to art and creativity, but even at a young age I understood that turning art into a stable career could be challenging.
As I moved into high school, my interests began to shift. I enrolled in healthcare-related classes and became involved in HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America). That experience helped solidify my interest in healthcare and exposed me to the many ways I could make a meaningful impact through service.
I’ve always had a strong passion for helping others, which I believe was shaped in part by being the oldest child. That sense of responsibility, combined with my natural empathy, played a major role in guiding me toward a career centered on caring for and supporting people.
