Inspiring Conversations with Ronald Hernandez of Pardux

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Ronald Hernandez.

Ronald Hernandez

Hi Ronald, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, and am of Ecuadorian-Venezuelan descent. I studied computer science and became a Systems Developer. I founded some technology companies that were not very successful until 2015. In Quito, I founded Facturero Movil, a fintech company acquired in 2018.

Then, I was CEO of YaEsta.com, the largest marketplace in Ecuador. I gained a lot of experience in e-commerce and logistics. In 2022, I founded Pardux, an all-in-one platform for e-commerce in LATAM; in 2023, I was selected as one of the 100 innovators of Latam by Bloomberg.

Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Being born in Latin America is a challenge because of all the inequalities. I also come from a family of limit resources, which made me start different businesses very early on.

Then, the migration to Ecuador became another great challenge and constantly exploring new limits in the process of entrepreneurship has helped me to form a very resilient personality.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Pardux is an all-in-one platform that helps retail companies centralize sales and automate logistical and financial processes. We were born with the idea of helping Latin retail to be more competitive and solve the big problem of omnichannel that grew after the pandemic.

Our main differentiation is the automation of logistics and the network we have created between USA, COLOMBIA, and ECUADOR.
