Hi Nakita, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I found Blushing Dolls Concierge with a mission to exceed guest expectations.
Having 13 years of working as a healthcare provider, I developed a passion for empowering clients by offering them safety, comfort, dignity, and luxury after a surgical procedure. Having worked in hospitals, long-term care facilities, and nursing homes, I have seen patients in various stages of recovery.
After experiencing my own recovery after a surgical procedure, it was not a great recovery experience. I realized that there was a need for greater post-op care. Going through my recovery, I was not aware of the intensity of the recovery process due to the lack of knowledge I had.
There is only so much information that a surgeon or surgery coordinator can provide. Utilizing my experience, my goal with Blushing Dolls Concierge is to provide clients with assurance, education, and comfort with a luxury aspect!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Finding similar businesses to collaborate with or obtain community knowledge with was hard.
I found it hard to gain new business as surgery centers already had similar businesses they were utilizing currently. As a new business, you would like other similar businesses to be more welcoming.

I am a Board Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant. Our team of Registered Nurses, Certified Nurses Assistants will provide our clients with a specific rehabilitation plan of care.
