Today we’d like to introduce you to Montrel H Davis
Montrel H, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hello my name is Montrel Henry Davis I am a Disciple,Minister, Husband, Author and Makeup Artist.
My passion for makeup started in 2017. At my high school, I was apart of the Star Academy Dance Program. During this time of my high school career, I would not only practice on my friends and family but I would make money from doing some of my fellow classmates makeup for our dance recitals, which has now turned into a business called “Artistry X Beauty LLC” that I now own with my beautiful wife
I’ve done work for Love & Hip Hop Miami Seasons 3-5. I’ve also done work with Ryan Destiny for Essence Festival Weekend.
Outside of my career as an artist, From the first day I got saved I have always been a minister. Last year October, I was compelled to start a ministry called “Spectrum Movement INC.”
Our goal is to become a world wide movement, teaching and equipping men and women to make disciples of all nations.
With having a ministry, I also am a published author. On June 1st 2024, I released a book entitled “The Other Side Of The Rainbow: Pathway To Freedom” that talks about my testimony and how I overcame my past to be able to stand for my future.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Although I wish that the road to success was smooth, unfortunately it is not easy. But what I will say is that when you find yourself at a place where it seems as if there’s no way out, that’s how you will know that God if with you.
My struggles along the way and what I’m still conquering is confidence in who I am and comparison.
I believe that comparing yourself to the person in the lane beside you, can conflict the very lane that God has set you on .
Comparison can lead you down a path that will make you feel overlooked, in return giving you a bitter heart when things doesn’t work out for you.

Spectrum Movement INC is a movement that helps disciple and equip those who have been rejected by the church. We are on a mission to build bolder believers.
This year will be our first conference of many. The theme of this year’s conference is “Testimony”. The theme was inspired by new book entitled “The Other Side Of The Rainbow: Pathway To Freedom”
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
Well being that I’m from Miami, I would say what I like the most about it is the food and culture. There’s no other place like Miami.
What I like the least about Miami is the noise, my lifetime goal is to move to a different country.
