Hi Marissa and Latoye , can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
We are two best friends, Marissa (Mitty) and Latoye (Lala), who share an endless passion for exploring the world. Together, we’ve created a business dedicated to delivering luxurious and unforgettable experiences for individuals, groups, families, etc. Fueled by our love for travel, we design exclusive, majestic journeys that immerse our clients in breathtaking destinations and unique cultural encounters. Our mission is to transform each trip into a seamless, elevated adventure, leaving travelers feeling pampered, inspired, and deeply connected to each location.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Being a travel agent is an incredible experience—it’s a career that lets us live our passion for travel and share it with others, helping them craft memories that last a lifetime. From discovering hidden gems around the world to creating itineraries that surprise and delight, there’s nothing like seeing a client’s dream vacation come to life.
However, balancing this business with our busy lives is no small feat. With full-time jobs, kids, and families to care for, consistency can be challenging. Coordinating from different states (FL and MD) adds a layer of complexity, as we manage different work schedules, client demands, and daily life commitments. Yet, the joy of helping others experience the world makes every challenge worth it!
