My story begins with a deep love for photography and a passion for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. I officially started my photography journey in 2021, right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the time, I was working full-time in the healthcare field, but I felt a pull toward something creative and fulfilling. I decided to take a leap and pursue my dream of becoming a photographer. The early days were a mix of excitement and challenges. Starting a business during a pandemic was no easy feat—people were cautious about gathering, and the economy was uncertain. But I focused on connecting with clients, honing my craft, and creating a style that felt authentic and timeless. I worked tirelessly, often balancing long days in healthcare with late nights editing photos and building my business. Fast forward to today, and I’ve had the honor of photographing hundreds of incredible clients, from weddings and couples to families and children. Along the way, I’ve learned so much about resilience, the power of storytelling, and the importance of relationships in business. I’m proud of how far I’ve come and excited about what’s to come. Through my lens, I aim to preserve moments that people will treasure for a lifetime, and I’m grateful every day to do what I love.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not at all!!!!!! It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge has shaped me and my business into what it is today. Balancing my photography business with a full-time job in healthcare was a significant challenge. There were long days and sleepless nights as I worked to grow my business while still fulfilling my responsibilities at work. I had to learn how to manage my time efficiently and stay focused on my goals. Another hurdle was starting with no portfolio of my own to showcase. I had to build my portfolio from scratch, relying on the trust and patience of my first clients. Despite these struggles, I’ve grown so much. I’ve learned resilience, the value of hard work, and the importance of staying true to my passion. These experiences have made me appreciate every milestone and every client even more, and I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come.

Lidia Lima Photography is all about creating timeless, heartfelt memories for couples, families, and individuals.
