Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
When I look back, I realize that Full Services BM was built one step at a time with hard work, uncertainty, and a lot of faith.
I came to Miami from Venezuela with more than ten years of experience in Human Resources, but starting over in a new country meant being willing to learn, adapt, and sometimes step completely outside my comfort zone.
In 2017, my husband, Josman, and I decided to take a leap of faith and build something of our own. That is how Full Services BM began. We started small, doing the work ourselves and learning every aspect of the business along the way. There were no shortcuts. We cleaned, managed clients, hired and trained employees, handled operations, solved problems, and figured things out one day at a time.
What started as a small family business has grown into a trusted local company serving offices and homes throughout South Florida. Along the way, we have created jobs, built lasting relationships with our clients, and learned that a successful business is built not only with hard work, but also with consistency, integrity, and the ability to keep going when things don’t go as planned.
I am especially proud of what Josman and I have built together, not because it has been perfect, but because it is ours. It represents our willingness to take a risk, start again, and keep building.
Today, I see success differently. It is not simply about how big your business becomes. It is about the people you impact, the opportunities you create, the relationships you build, and being able to look back and say, “We started with an idea, and we made it real.”
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, and one of our biggest challenges has been proving that a cleaning company can be much more than a cleaning service.
From the beginning, we wanted to give this work the value and professionalism it deserves. Cleaning is often seen as a simple or routine job, but we believe it requires skill, responsibility, attention to detail, consistency, and a genuine commitment to the people and spaces we serve.
Another challenge has been growing as a family-owned business while making sure we are seen not simply as a small family operation, but as a professional, organized company with the vision and structure to continue expanding. We have had to build systems, establish standards, develop our team, and constantly improve the way we operate while still maintaining the personal touch that makes us who we are.
Being a small business means you often have to wear many hats. There have been moments of uncertainty, long days, and plenty of lessons along the way. But those challenges have pushed us to become more organized, more intentional, and more resilient.
For us, growth is not only about becoming bigger. It is about becoming better, creating opportunities for others, and elevating the way people see the cleaning profession.
We are proud to be a family business, but we also want to show that being family-owned does not mean being small-minded or unstructured. We can keep the heart of a family business while building a professional company with high standards, strong systems, and a vision for the future.

Full Services BM is a family-owned cleaning company based in South Florida, founded by my husband, Josman, and me in 2017. We specialize in commercial and residential cleaning, with a strong focus on offices and professional spaces. Our services include recurring cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in and move-out cleaning, and residential organization.
But what we provide goes beyond cleaning. We believe the spaces where people work and live have an impact on how they feel, perform, and experience their day. A clean, organized, and well-maintained space can create a better environment, support productivity, and simply bring a different energy to the people who use it.
That is why we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. We take the time to understand each client’s space, priorities, schedule, and needs, and then create a cleaning plan that makes sense for them. Our goal is not just to complete a checklist, but to provide a consistent service that adds real value to the space.
What sets us apart is our attention to detail and our personal approach. We treat every space as if it were our own, and we stay involved in the process. We follow up, listen to our clients, address opportunities for improvement, and continuously look for ways to make the service better.

Being family-owned is also an important part of our identity. We started this business together, built it step by step, and continue to be personally involved in its growth. What I am most proud of about Full Services BM is that our brand reflects who we are: hardworking, detail-oriented, dependable, personal, and committed to doing things the right way.

What I like most about South Florida is its energy and diversity. It is a place where people from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences come together, and that creates a very dynamic environment. I also love the opportunities it offers to small businesses. There is always something new happening, new people to meet, and new possibilities to explore.
As a business owner, I appreciate that South Florida is a place where you can start small, work hard, build relationships, and gradually create something of your own. That has been a big part of our journey with Full Services BM.
What I like least is probably the fast pace and, of course, the traffic! South Florida can be very demanding, especially when you are running a service-based business where getting from one client to another is part of your everyday life. The cost of living and doing business can also be challenging for small, family-owned companies.
But even with those challenges, I think they are part of what makes this community so resilient. South Florida has taught us to adapt, keep moving, and find opportunities even when things are not always easy.
