Today we’d like to introduce you to Krystyna.
Hi Krystyna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, and at the age of 17 I moved to Spain to build a better life for myself and my family.
Growing up in the most violent district of my city made me think that, in order to move up the social ladder, I needed to do something drastically different.
So I did. I packed my bags and moved to a new country on my own, learned Spanish, entered university to study business, and started my business ventures at age 19.
Since then, I have built businesses across 5 industries, and each of them moved me closer to my true mission.
My first business was producing shoes and exporting them. As a managing partner, my team and I took our products to over 54 countries and became a Golden Exporter of the country.
This journey quickly got noticed throughout the entire industry, and on my early 20s I was constantly appearing in the press and on television.
That experience and the results we achieved created a demand for my consulting services, which quickly became an additional income stream and allowed me to open new businesses, such as building my own e-commerce platform and opening several shops.
Through this experience, I uncovered the incredible power of not only having a strategy and taking actions that lead to growth and success in your own business, but also the fact that this experience and know-how can be useful for other businesses as well.
However, despite the fact that financial success was growing in my life, my level of satisfaction was decreasing over time.
One day, my business community and I took a trip to Kenya. While visiting a school in the Kibera slums, I had the opportunity to stand in front of the kids and tell my story. We had conversations with the kids, asking about their dreams and plans. Many of them shared how they wanted to become pilots, models, engineers, and entrepreneurs…And the moment hit deeply.
A question arose in my mind: Can I help people, real people with dreams and goals, create a better future for themselves using my knowledge? If I was able to build a better life despite difficult circumstances, I know they can too.
We sponsored high school education for a group of kids, helping them get out of the slums, and made a movie about our trip and how people can actually help this community.
But I knew I could do more.
A year later, I launched an Education company in South America, helping local entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.
What was interesting was that many of the biggest opportunities, such as partnerships, investments, and C-level hires, came from my personal brand online, primarily my Instagram page, where I was sharing my journey. At the same time, our core marketing strategy in the academy was acquiring clients through Instagram as well.
Moving to the US and scaling into the English-speaking market was a pivotal moment for my academy. A highly competitive and mature market required greater specialization.
We analyzed the tools that helped people the most across our large database and realized it was social media. And within social media, it was Instagram. That was an “aha” business moment.
We realized that the same tool that had brought me clients, partnerships, investments, team members, and opportunities throughout my career was also helping our students grow their businesses.
So we focused entirely on helping entrepreneurs, coaches, and experts build their personal brands and sell on Instagram.
It worked for me. It worked for our business. And now, with over 2,500 students worldwide, I can say that I not only found a profitable business, but I also found my mission: helping people achieve their goals and thrive in life through a clear methodology for taking what they do online, creating real demand for their services, reaching more people, and helping more people.
In early 2025, I also launched my own smart networking app, KonectaHub, which supports professionals, experts, and founders in connecting based on their current goals and skills.
Today, I often speak at universities and business communities, and I strongly believe that your experience matters and your story matters.
I live in Miami now, but sharing this story from my summer property in Spain while visiting my family, who now happily live here as well, is a moment of gratitude and reflection on my journey, how everything started, and where it has led.
Thank you.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Several challenges along the way.😊
I grew up without a father, who left when I was 3 and died of AIDS when I was nearly 11. Financial struggles, feelings of being abandoned as a child, and a constant desire to prove that I was worthy both helped drive my career and also made it an emotionally tough journey for me.
In my very first business venture, I was betrayed by my business partners.
In 2022, when the war started in Ukraine, I lost my entire retail business there. I had to close all of my shops and give away the stock as humanitarian support.
Day-to-day challenges are normal in business, and my spiritual journey and self-awareness have helped me approach life as a school where my soul is learning to become the best version of itself.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am the founder of Eduhub, an education company and academy, and KonectaHub, a networking app designed to help professionals build meaningful, growth-oriented connections.
Eduhub is an education company that helps coaches, experts, and entrepreneurs turn their personal brand into a powerful asset and client-generation machine.
Through training programs and mentorship, we help clients clarify their offers, build their personal brands on Instagram and attract clients through social media.
Since its launch, we have supported thousands of professionals in growing their businesses, monetizing their expertise, sharing their story, and creating a greater impact online.
Meanwhile, KonectaHub is a networking app and ecosystem where professionals can find each other and create meaningful connections based on their goals, skills, interests, and the expertise they are looking for. The platform is designed to make networking more intentional, helping people connect not just based on who they know, but on who they want to become and what they want to achieve.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
I attribute much of my success to my courageous mother, who supported my decision to move abroad at the age of 17 despite the fact that our family did not have the financial means or opportunities to make it easy. It was a leap of faith for both of us, but it worked out.
I am also grateful to all the people who believed in me along the way, as well as the team members who spent years with me through different stages of my entrepreneurial journey. Building a business is never a solo effort, and their trust, commitment, and support played an important role in my success.
And ultimately, I credit my clients. They come with a mission, a desire to create a better world around them, and the courage to pursue their goals despite their fears and uncertainties. They trust me, they take action, and they do the work. Watching them grow and succeed is one of the greatest rewards of what I do.
