Today we’d like to introduce you to Kerri Paizzi.
Hi Kerri, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am originally from Long Island, New York and have lived in South Florida since 2010 with my 10-year-old son. I started in the restaurant business when I was 15, working the deli at Frank’s Steaks in Jericho, Long Island (which is still there!). Altogether, I have nearly 20 years of fine dining experience, and I have worked for mom and pop’s, major corporate restaurant groups, and everything in between.
In 2017, I founded Monarch Marketing and Design, a boutique marketing firm specializing in creative social media strategies and digital marketing. I took over as the Owner and CEO of Flavor Palm Beach in November 2021, which I expanded to Flavor South Florida and will now include Flavor Martin County (launching this October!).
I have a deep love of the restaurant business and I believe Palm Beach County has one of the best food scenes in the country. I am honored to lead the Palm Beaches’ oldest and original restaurant month and to have the opportunity to showcase the amazing things our chefs and restaurateurs have to offer.
As the leader of Flavor Palm Beach, I get to marry my professional worlds and experiences and take a beloved dining program into its next chapter!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
There are bumps in all of the roads. None of them should be expected to be smooth. If you take your strengths, talents, and support systems and do right by them, success will follow. The only struggle I feel I’ve encountered thus far has been lack of sleep!
As you know, we’re big fans of Flavor Palm Beach. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Flavor Palm Beach is a month-long dining event established in 2007 to introduce diners to the vast array of restaurants throughout Palm Beach County. We encourage diners to enjoy Flavor Palm Beach – The original and oldest established Palm Beach Dining Month to support our local restaurants. Flavor Palm Beach began in 2007 and features multi-course meals at dozens of restaurants from Tequesta to Boca Raton.
What’s next?
Flavor Palm Beach, September’s restaurant month for the Palm Beaches was founded in 2007 and we are excited to announce that this year, we will be launching Flavor Martin County; the Treasure Coast’s first and only restaurant month. This will take place in the month of October.
