Hi Julio Cesar, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, where I attended Belen Jesuit Preparatory school for high school and St. Thomas University for University and law school. I grew up with a strong sense of responsibility and justice.That belief eventually led me to the law.
After law school, I immediately gravitated toward criminal defense. Those early years sharpened me. I handled thousands of cases across Florida, from misdemeanors to serious felonies.
Eventually, I realized that my mission was bigger than any firm I worked for. I wanted to build something of my own; something rooted in integrity, honesty, and genuine care for clients. That’s how Torrente Defense P..A.. was born. I started my practice with nothing more than my experience, my values, and the belief that I could make a real difference for people who felt like the system had already decided their fate.
Since then, I’ve grown into a statewide practice, representing clients from Miami-Dade all the way to the Panhandle. Every day I’m in a courtroom somewhere fighting to protect someone’s freedom, future, and dignity. I’ve built a brand around trust, results, and accessibility: Just Call Julio! because I want people to know they have a real advocate who will show up for them.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has not been a smooth road. It took many years of schooling, university, law school, and real life experience to mold me into the person I am today.
