Inspiring Conversations with Juliet Paris of Good Juju Skin

Today we’d like to introduce you to Juliet Paris.

Hi Juliet, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Good Juju Skin was born from a simple belief: when we slow down and care for ourselves, everything else begins to soften too.

My journey started with a love for skincare, but over time I realized I was drawn to something deeper. I wasn’t just interested in treating skin, I was fascinated by touch, connection, and the way our bodies hold stress, emotion, and tension. I wanted to create an experience that felt less clinical and more like a ritual.

What began as a dream slowly became reality through long days, late nights, and a lot of faith. I took the leap and built Good Juju Skin, a space where people can come home to themselves. Every treatment is designed to be intentional~ a moment to breathe, release, restore, and reconnect.

Along the way, I’ve continued to evolve both personally and professionally. I’m currently pursuing massage therapy education to deepen my understanding of the body and healing, and every step has reinforced what I believe at my core: true beauty isn’t something we chase, it’s something we uncover when we feel well, supported, and at peace within ourselves.

Good Juju Skin is a reflection of my heart. It’s a space built on intuition, care, and the belief that skincare can be so much more than skin deep.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all. If there’s one thing entrepreneurship has taught me, it’s how to keep moving forward when things don’t go according to plan.

Building Good Juju Skin has come with many challenges, financial risks, long hours, self doubt, and the pressure of wearing every hat in the business. There have been moments where I questioned myself, moments where I had to pivot, and moments where I had to let go of things I had worked hard to build.

One of the biggest lessons came when I faced a regulatory challenge involving a service I genuinely believed I was allowed to perform based on the education I had received. It was humbling, emotional, and forced me to completely reevaluate my path. Instead of allowing it to stop me, I chose to see it as redirection. It ultimately led me to enroll in massage therapy school so I could continue expanding my knowledge and serve my clients in a way that aligns with my long-term vision.

Looking back, every obstacle has been an invitation to grow. The challenges have taught me resilience, patience, and trust. They reminded me that success isn’t about having a perfect path.. it’s about continuing forward, even when the path changes beneath your feet.

In many ways, the difficult seasons shaped Good Juju Skin just as much as the beautiful ones. They taught me that sometimes what feels like a setback is actually preparing you for something greater.

As you know, we’re big fans of Good Juju Skin. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Good Juju Skin is a holistic skincare studio rooted in the belief that beauty and well-being are deeply connected. While we offer results-driven skincare treatments, our approach goes beyond the surface. Every service is designed to help clients slow down, reconnect with themselves, and leave feeling restored both physically and emotionally.

What sets Good Juju Skin apart is our focus on touch, intention, and the nervous system. Through customized facials, facial massage, lymphatic techniques, and a thoughtfully curated treatment experience, we create a space where self care feels less like a luxury and more like a ritual.

I’m most proud of the community that has grown around the brand. Good Juju Skin was built from the ground up with a vision of creating something authentic, welcoming, and deeply personal. Every detail, from the products I choose to the energy clients feel when they walk through the door, reflects that intention.

At its core, Good Juju Skin is about helping people come home to themselves. Healthy skin is important, but the way someone feels when they leave my treatment room is what matters most to me. That’s the kind of beauty I’m passionate about creating.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Honestly, I don’t have one specific childhood memory that stands out above the rest. What I miss most is the feeling of being carefree. As children, we’re naturally present, we aren’t thinking about emails, schedules, or responsibilities. Creating Good Juju Skin has been my way of helping people return to that feeling, even if just for the length of a facial.
